I haven't actually played WoW but I've messed around and read some of the fourms and found that not everyone liked, and disliked the game.
So I started thinking why not ask people how'd they make the game before they actually shipped out and were in stores after testing or just pulling you opinon.
From what I've read, leveling sucks, 1-10 is easy I seem to hear, but some people don't like the constant leveling in a hurried pace I think. Though some people seem to like to spend three hours gaining one level. It was like that in FFXI for me, but thats probally just me. Warriors don't get the most attention in the game.
I'm not trying to pull the game down and label it as a no buy, I've actually considered going to preorder. I probally won't though, in the meantime though.
Improvements. (I don't really have any since I haven't had an in game experience yet.)

Better PvP(ie. battleground, etc.)
They said they should be in by release, but now it looks like they won't make it in time, instead they're going to be too busy signing books in CA.
As for something that won't change in the near future, I'd like to see a larger variety of classes. Most importantly, a Bard-type of class, and more offensive-magic classes.

Yeah, I'd do Betty....
But I'd be thinking about Wilma.

Yes, I read on the beta forums that they where waiting to impliment more pet abliaties till after they balanced the hunter talents. So probably on release day or very soon after, as they had 2 weeks to tweak hunter talents now.
I played a tauren hunter to level 20 in OB, btw.

There are a few things in WOW, I would like to see added, not so much changed!
I would like to see more classes as some other people already mentioned.
Another thing I would really like to see is more customization of your character, right now it seems pretty basic.
I love the game and these things will probably be added with ptaches and or exspansions after the release. So Ill just keep my fingers crossed. Defenitly the best mmorpg I've ever played and Ive played quite a few!
I'm not a huge MMORPG but I really enjoyed the open Beta. I'd say an Arena for PVP would be nice. I think they need to include more community building activities. I mean like a quest where you are reequired to meet other people. That and I played with a friend he was a human paladin and I was a Human rogue, we were driven apart by different quests in Stromwind, the 3rd town. I mean I know there special class quest but they weren't class quests. Anyways that's my beef.

Yeah I would have to say the pvp system needs changes and definition, but like someone stated, they are supposedly working on that even though it may not be rdy by release date.
More classes could be cool too, as long as they don't create a useless class. (having an EQ Berserker flashback) Sometimes creating more classes can just add to more problems with class balance so I am careful what to wish for as far as that goes.
Other than that I absolutely enjoyed it and can't wait to play next week.
Agreed...
1. And I think its already in game blizzard just needs to activate it.. Why do I say that well because when I first hit lvl 10 and had to go tame some beast the first beast (a boar) had charge as his abliity and I could ativate it.. The third one (a ice claw bear) had ice claw as his ablity and I could activate it. But when I went to actually tame a pet these abilities were not there anymore
2. Some of the other things I would implement if its me were a lvl retriction as far as pvp goes.. Sorta like Anarchy Online had where if a char is a set amount of lvls higher or lower then you will not be able to attack him..Getting ganked by 10 lvl 30 up horde kinda got fustrating for us people lvl 15-20 trying to complete our quest in a contested land. But maybe this honor system will be enough to stop that, only time will tell..
3. The fact that you have to be attacked first when you go to ememy territory that is not contested.. That kinda sucked since people usually were to chicken to fight you by themselves.. Many people would just call for a gank squad on general then they would get the courage to attack.
Anyways I think alot of this stuff will be fixed by the Honor system blizzard has comming out.. All of it but the last statment that is.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith
I like to see
More Character Customization!
Snowing and Raining thunder and lightning in the game and more foggy at nights..
I'd like to torch a forest , see it burn down , then slowly regrow... along with weather much faster day and night cycles...or the lake freeze over in winter and thaw to water in spring..
Many more options per characters race and more class varitions
What I don't wish to see every rogue using all the same talents and much all the same gear or any other class for that matter gimped in the same way , that just means the Dev's wasted their time with alot of worthless variety because in the end only one build works
ACCCKK!!! not me HONEST
Only thing i disliked was the stupid level penalties on killing mobs. Its not like higher lvl mobs hurt more or have alot more hp/armor so you cant kill them, instead they have some weird-ass penalties to your attacks on higher lvl mobs. 4 lvls higher and you can hardly hit them at all, and if you can hit your damage is only 25% of what it wouldve been on a normal level mob... Wouldve been better if they just made the levels mean something except that penalty... Cause as it is now it doesnt matter much how hard you work on your character cause it will still be impossible to kill a lvl 30+ at lvl 25, so the best you can do is always kill the same level mobs forever and forever...
Fastest way to level now is soloing same or lower lvl quests by the handful, instead of trying to do the harder quests.
Other than that i liked it ^^

To be honest. This is one of the first games I have ever tryed that actually give your rewards, even though u are not a big fan of the leveling loop. I made 3 different chars in the beta, and I was actually leveling on doing quests, advance my crafting skills etc. I like that.... I hate games where you have to be online 24/7 just to level up so you can at least have some fun the 30 min you are not leveling.
The rewards for doing quest etc was good in WOW. Not sure how this will work out at higher levels, but so far WOW is a game for me. I can log in now and when I have time, and still have fun, even though I am not the uber powerleveler
A few more character customization options would be nice, like it would have been cool to change the color of the "glowing eyes" of the undead, like make them red or orange. Green or white would have been cool too. For the humans, a few more faces would have been nice. I really can't think of much else.

Most of mine have been mentioned here above so I won't go into much detail.
- Char customization -- I agree, mainly I'd like to control body mass and height. My NE Hunter looks like a warrior with popeye arms!
- Weather -- Unlike some, I love the Realtime Night/Day cycle. I've been waiting for that for many years and thought it was the coolest feature in Animal crossings (yeah, I know .. don't ask..). What I'd like to see is occasional rain and snow .. perhaps some thunder as well.
- Chat bubbles -- many don't like chat bubbles, but I'd like the option to turn them on even if they are off by default. I sometimes miss stuff from people standing right in front of me when I have the general channel turned on.
- A neutral/crafting race/profession. Wouldn't it be cool for crafting lovers to be some kind of Goblin weapons expert living and crafting in Ratchet Bay?
- Heros class with faction cross overs. A night elf becoming a demon hunter for the horde. A paladin who could join the undead as a dark knight.
by the way ... I heard you could learn the opposite faction's languages. Has anyone witnessed this? .. Is it widely known how to go about doing so?

Actually, there were some Arenas originally opened up in some of the major cities at one time, but they weren't functioning yet. Now the one functioning arena is in a level 40+ zone just outside of Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale. I hope that these features are part of the "will not be available until release" things that they have been mentioning.
I agree with the community building aspects, but I hope that changes too as the raid content gets fleshed out some more.
If there some things I would have liked to see before Open Beta ended, it would have been a better selection of Polearms, Fist Weapons, and Ranged Weapons. Of those three, the few Polearms I did see were somewhat impressive, but I was not thrilled at all with the attributes of the ranged weapons, and I saw only one fist weapon available in the Auction House of the Closed Beta PvP server, ever.
I would have really liked to see some sort of customization features like armor dyes, and I would have liked to see more Tradeskill recipes. I felt like there was a very large gap in available lower level items crafted by players. There was also a large gap in tradeskill recipes in relation to the weapons I mentioned above. I had taken a Blacksmith almost to Master level, and I had never seen one Fist weapon or Polearm recipe, and only Gun and Gun Ammo recipes in the Engineering profession, but no Bows or Arrows.
I hate Universal Vivendi, and I damn them to the lowest depths of Hell for pushing Blizzard to rush this thing out the door in it's current state just to satisfy their investors. It seems pretty obvious this thing is being rushed, since Blizzard finally made their announcement of a Release date around the same time UV posted it's third quarter losses, and surprise surprise, it just happened to be slotted for the fourth quarter.
Implementation of PVP rewards/consequences...(the ability to almost instantly resurrect in an enemy zone graveyard is ..ummm...stupid!! )
Character Customization (I'm sure release will have this)
Lack of a RP-PvP Server for Beta and release
OHHH...
and leveling is NOT bad in the least....I found it extremely enjoyable.
Best Quest design in a loong time...
I would like to have a new computer running at max for all the graphics!
Couple of things I would add are:
1. Add some type of arrow or light to show which way to go for quest. The directions they gave where not always clear.
2. Add Hieght and Weight custimization for your Avatars.
3. More secret recipies for crafting.
A light or arrow to show where your quest is would make it toooo easy, I found that if you read the quest descriptions it almost always gives you at least a general idea, and for the ones that didn't "Chens Keg" for example, it was fun tracking down the guy you had to give it to.
I would hate not to be able to as I would have to run for another 10 minutes to get back to the same place I died only to be ganked before I can even heal or hearth out!!!
You must of never went into enemy territory where you had to run to it for 10-15 minutes to find people to attack!

Yep id H8 if i had to run another painful 10-20 minutes to get back to body then get ganked THEN have to do it again and again and again then there would be even more complaints about the long body runs than short ones besides if i had to run 20 mins for my body everytime i died i doubt id be goin into horde land very often anywayz...
*also do u think ppl will wait 10-20 mins for u to come back lmao they usually dont wait for 5 mins currently*
