Anyway, please state how the world is immersive. From the videos I have seen and from what I have read, there is no immersion at all.
full-scene shadows. wind through trees, bushes, grass. spectacular sunrises & sunsets. believeable & interesting terrain formations. logical graduations in geography across the world. sensible mob placement. challenging AI. seamless/zoneless world. omnipresent sense of danger. clean UI, free of player radar and nameplates.
You really need to learn where to put commas. Oh and last time I checked, new sentences start with upper-case letters. I think when you wrote "believeable" you actually meant "believable". Am I right? You also have a lot of fragmented sentences - I suggest taking English classes before posting here.

You still trying to talk sense with javac? I gave up long ago. There are only so many precious moments of my life when I can read or talk online, and I would try to talk with people that makes sense. Same with seeking nice people to play when I am online. I have enough nice people in game to hang around with, and I have identified many names on this message boards, whose post make sense and interesting reading. DF represents the worst game community I can imagine, and javac the kind of posters not worth reading. Save your time and energy for those who care to reason and is worth reasoning with.

It was a hefty 32 mb !!! client that kept me for almost two years in front of my monitor almost exclusively . Later on there was that unforgettable trip from Qeynos to Freeport in a strange game called Evequest... You felt like you were just thrown in that world and you only had to survive ........... There was no ingame map , very few spots to bind , a vast unfriendly environment that everything seemed dark ...... At first I said there is no way i would put myself in such punishment ........ I was so wrong ......... Six years passed , till i finally forced to move forward to those plastic safe and sterilized environments of today's mmorpgs . Am i romantic , i dont know , all i know is that i want to thank Adventurine in public , for the chance to feel the same as then........ It maybe gona last long or very short i dont know ........ but i really want to thank you guys..........

Thats just being antisocial in real life. Your e-romance with video games is actually called addiction and if you spend all your time with that addiction neglecting your whole social life , you may have serious issues.
For all i know, no lady is gonna tolerate watching her man stayed hours glued to the computer and no attention to her.

I play mmorps but damn the most ill give is 2 to prob3 hours a day and thats prob to much. I got pals to hang out with and one special someone who i would prefer to spend more time with after work than my darn computer.

I see your replies haven't gotten any better. If this is the best that the DF community has to offer, I feel sorry for that community.
I envy you OP. I went into Darkfall hoping for the experience that you are having. Instead I found an unfinished, horribly boring game with so many problems that my brain would not let me look past. In my opinion the big difference between Darkfall and Everquest is that EQ is very immersive. I felt like I was "in" the world of EQ. Darkfall, for me, had no imersive feeling. I personally feel that comparing Darkfall to Everquest is doing a disservice to Everquest.
are you sure you've even played the game? darkfall's world is more immersive than WOW+WAR+AoC put together. by "immersive", i mean "feels real". WOW/WAR/AoC's static, evenly-spaced mobs spread over every inch of the map, and which auto-attack until dead, are the exact opposite of immersive as far as i'm concerned.

Really it just look like a POS. Which be forgiveable if the world had some dynamism like a god honest movement of goods and economy. Sorry but DF is about as immersive as the bucket googles on yer head for mid 1990s 3D environments. i.e. its not.
Comparing DF to any decent MMO is a joke, let alone against anything proper sandboxy like Eve. What did they do for 8 plus years. Well it was not a billing system either !

Face it DF is not very immersive at all. Really now you know there is no real economy or trading and you know it was baaad mistake by AV. But you also know they ran out of time (after X years I know) to implement these features. You also know what the long lasting NDA was all about and the limited sales with fake supply. But you also know as said elsewhere that the website covers up and lies about this lacking of features. (I say know because I am beginning to think you might actually be an AV ermployee here by the way ?)
