I honestly dont understand why the OP would even start a thread like this. How can you hate a game that has not been released in your country yet? If you go solely on other peoples experiances, then you have to realize that some will like it and some wont. from my understanding Aion is a hit with just about everyone that has played it.
Is Aion like WoW? Sure there are some simmilar elements but its not the same game. If you say Aion = WoW or Lineage 2 with wings then you might as well say Aion = every mmo ever released.
Id suggest to everyone posting good and bad comments about Aion, to try the game first when it releases to the NA/EU or the area you live in, and see what you think. I honestly dont need to come into a forum and see threads like this, because lets face it. Its pretty close to just a obvious troll thread.
If Aion isnt up your alley, then go find another game that satisfies your hunger, if you cant find it. Maybe MMO's are not for you. Eitehrway my point is, stop QQing if you dont like the game, =====================> there is the door. Good Luck, Have Fun.
Why bother hating it? That's an awfully lot of wasted emotion and thought as far as I'm concerned. If you don't care for it, why not ignore it and play something else? It seems that would be easier and a lot less stressful for ya.
There is only one thing i hate about this game, and it is the fact that there are so many botters, SO MANY, SO SO SO MANY. That i question if the ratio of bots to people in not 2:1 in favor of the bots, and no.... im not kidding.
I thought it was funny at first , oh ha ha 3 gladiators following the same path botting, but its everywhere.... it takes 3x as much time as it should to finish quests because there is 5 level 30 gladiator bots running around killing level 23 monsters, so you have to be hyper alert as soon as the thing spawns and pray you get in a few big hits before the gladiators come charging towards it.
3.5 million subs, i would bet at the very least 1.5 million are bots.
People seem to focus on the word 'hate' quite a bit. But my view of the OP's posts is that they meant "What bothers you about Aion?" What gets under your skin?

Up until people started just reading the initial post now it's a pointless thread and every new person is going to comment on something that has changed during the conversation.... >< Threads evolve it's in their nature.

Most people never read a long thread, hell, a lot them can't even be bothered to read a long post. And when the title has a few flamebait qualities it is so much easier to just respond to that.
Because the game is to easy. Thats what bothers me.
Now there's a statement! What MMO is not easy? They all are even the Lineage 2's of the world, the difference is time sinks. It's not actually more difficult.

You can make your character look like anything. If your character looks metrosexual, it's because someone didn't put enough creativity into designing their own character.
With Aion, there is no excuse for any two characters even looking remotely the same. You should check out some of the weird looking ones. I'm sorry I don't have links to them but they really are quite inventive.

not sure where you read rangers was op they're pretty gimp actually and i've seen videos of them getting dominated by assassins wich is just odd in flying pvp or gound pvp really since the sin has to get upo close enough to do dmg. unless maybe they got buffed in the korean retail since i played it last?
Rangers WERE OPed. The last few patches have destroyed them. At least someone agreed to my post. Rangers may wear leather but in aerial combat they have the advantage. I do agree on the stigma system misleading so many people. I too have just found out that the stigma is only an additional skill but not a cross-class skill that lets you equip other class skills. I hope in NA/EU they will also change the voice-overs of skills. Its kinda annoying hearing the same spell chanting over and over again. And the thing is that you are using the skill as your main attacking spell. For ex: In Aion-CN the cleric would say "se ti ri ki" for attack, and for heal "sei re ge". Imagine hearing that many times but in English... "thunderbolt" or "heal!" thats funny in a western MMO.

I should have clarified. The Ranger destroying patch is live on Korea, but has not been implemented yet in China. So...you're both right.
What I dislike about Aion? The simple fact that it's basically a more grindy WoW with anime characters.
I also hate how in a game which advertises flight as one of it's main attractions, you're restricted with where you can use it and for how long. Yes, I'm talking about invisible walls and "you can't fly here" messages in certain outside zones.

I would think if somebody hated something so badly, they would'nt make a crude forum thread about it.

I hate Aion because it's not available in the United States yet, and I don't feel like playing the Chinese version. :P
