I resubbed a few months ago to play TBC and WOTLK....
WOTLK > TBC. Better environments, background music, more varied quest types. There were a few fair areas in TBC, but once it got to that neon blue stuff, I had reached 70 and skipped the rest of tbc, went to wotlk and love it. It's as good or possibly better than the original imo. Haven't gotten to 80 yet so can't comment on end-game.
All in all, I really liked the change they made in Wotlk. I have always been in a small guild with friends and I thank blizz for further implementing the 10-man raid. It keeps the casual raiders at least a little closer to the hardcore gamers.
Although some says that the dungeons and raids are far more easier than Pre-Wotlk...

I wasnt impressed by TBC and after raiding for a while at 70 I quit and didnt intend to go back. Some friends made me re-up wow and get WoTLK about 5 months ago and I'm enjoying myself more then ever. There is so much to do at level 80 if you let yourself get into it.
Wrath is the first time in years I feel like an MMO has really raised the bar a bit... yeah its just in small ways... but its more then anyone else has managed! Vehicles, Jousting, and Wintergrasp battles... plus the Achievements system with its titles and rewards... I'm loving it.
WOTLK just kicks TBC's ass.. period.
