Im getting the DS for christmas. I want to try both honestly. maybe the PSP can convert me to Final Fantasy. But then again... FF: Tactics, FF: CC. *drool*. DS has some cool titles coming out too. I really want to try advaned wars.

yeah i think it can, but for only 2-3 hours, btw, the DS has 100ft wireless multiplayer.. aint that sweet? along with text AND picture messaging... neat to trick your teacher into thinking it was a PDA (calcualtor) and sendiong andswers to your buddy across the room...

*The chat feature is a bit overrated. You need to connect, type, send, wait, have buddy connect, recieve, type, send. It is a long and tedious process, albeit I spent 20 minutes playing with the chat feature alone at best buy.

they've yet to come out, and it wasnt a total worthless post. Some/most of those games look appealing to not only me, but probably many others. Mario Kart was huge for Nintendo 64, maybe it will be for DS also. We'll see.
Nintendo DS is selling fast, I wanted to buy one for my little cousin for x-mas and it was sold out at best buy, future shop and EB games! I found ONE DS left in Wal-Mart!
Allow me,already,the Nintindo DS has sold WELL over 1.2 MILLION units in Japan and in NA,in 2 weeks.....PSP only SHIPED 200,000 units at launch...Nintindo has already sold 5 times as much as sonys made! PSP CANNOT play DvDs or anything,it can play a UMD(Universal Media Disc) which isnt too Universal since it only works with PSP....anyways.....I have done research,and in a report at a gaming site,they said the PSP wireless could reach if ppl are in the same room,but cant work with some1 in a different room with walls/glass inbetween...in the meanwhile,my friends have DS's and used the Pictochat in school when they were 3 classes down from each other....thats good!Also,the PSP battery life is said to only last between 2-6 hours depending on what your doing....for example....if your watching a UMD only 1-3 hours....if your playing a game like a puzzle game....then about 6 hours....if your playing a GT or MGS game then it can only last 4-5 hours....it also depends on how many buttons you press any everything(yes,im dead ass serious,the more buttons u push,the quicker the battery dies).O yes,and the DS will last 9-10 hours no matter what on a 4 hour charge.....this is mainly due to Nintindo going with cartridges instead of Disc...also,the DS has a TOUCH FREAKN SCREEN!Not to mention a built in microphone....and is backwards compatible with the GBA....
and like some1 previously said......NINTINDO HAS ITS HALL OF FAME 1ST PARTY.....Mario,Zelda,Kirby,Donkey Kong,Yoshi,Advanced Wars,Fire Emblem,Pokemon,Animal Crossings,NES,...ect....ect.....
Also,the DS's lineup improves everyday,and this is also true.....EA has announced a MMORPG for the NINTINDO DS! Wouldnt it be sweet if it was UO?
Bottom line,both are good systems,but PSP cannot compare to the DS....Nintindo owns handheld....
