Well, i dunno about you guys. But have you heard about any girls running around in high heels? Nope? Thought so.

I don't care if the op had another reason for why he doesn't like it. But it's highly unrealistic (even for a game) where gals actually run around in shoes like that. Sure, it looks sexier i guess.. But still. You guys get my point.

Not going to stop me playing the game, but insisting that EVERY female be in high heels through-out the game even via weird claws is just really odd to me. Growing claws like that is similar to normal women growing extra long-freaky-bone to also make it look like high heels.
Having armor that shows enough skin to make the women look more attractive in gaming is one thing (and of course can be compared to this high-heels thing), but do Korean's really find high-heels so in-grained into what makes a good women (whether good-looking, elegant, and its general importance in judging a female) that they MUST add it like games add unreasonable armor designs? (personally, I am against the whole unrealistic armor styles from women)

And this isn't a joke, I'd honestly like to know why Korean's feel the need to add high-heels to all females in a game and why they feel the need to.

Really? Because in another thread I actually believe that I stated that the character's original voices sound cool. I have to agree with the OP in some respects. This weekend I had my first chance to get to play Aion. The game itself ran as smooth as silk, even when the newbie zone looked like a disturbed ants nest with a swarm of level 1s and 2s killing everything in sight. Game play wise everything seemed ok but I don't think I have really played enough to make an informed judgement on that. However, the whole style of the game just didn't suit my tastes at all. The world was pretty enough but the characters are just way over the top. All of the end game armour, which you can view at char selection, was just garish and often silly looking. Worst of all were the idle animations for many chars. I rolled a asmoden priest first up but had to delete him because he would stand with one hand on a hip and gyrate his waist slowly while looking coy at any opportunity! Personally, I just don't think I'd be able to play this game because of the art style they chose to go with.

You actually misquote me there... My phrasing was "I'm not going to give you any chance to debate back", considering I quoted you directly, I'd think you'd at least show a bit of standard and quote me directly... Instead you decide to misquote and hence pretty much lie about what I said.

Since, the two are very different, one refers to an actual reply while one refers to fighting back within a post. My first statement doesn't specifically state at all that I didn't want you to post, I pretty much say that I didn't want to leave any holes for you to dig at.

I thought you generally answered your own question when you mentioned most others game desire to show cleavage and stomach in other games, in general all of us who consider ourselves culturally forward thinking are highly preoccupied with sex appeal that's the simple answer and I think if you look at it like that since that is just the way it is you would be able to avoid the appearance of racism or some other such separatist view point the entire western world is preoccupied with making women "keep it sexy" does it really matter if it's through high heel shoes or big cleavage?
