Ok now to the main thing: Combat. If CO can nail this then we prolly have a winner... nope. weakest part of the game. My opponent and I feel totally unconnected. I hit the button and wait a second. hit it again and wait. now I start shooting but my intentions are already out of sync with what I am seeing in the game. The enemies health bar depletes on its own not congruous with the "splashes" of my rounds hitting the mob which in turn don't really match my characer firing either... so all in all I feel like I am trying to play pool with a rope. I logged out after the first combat mission. Will the combat system get better?
Sounds like you where having some sort of lag or PC issues. Thats not normal. The game doesn't play like that.
CAUTION: The OP stole my forum avatar. Clearly, he cannot be trusted. /snicker
Damn and you joined in '04... guess I will change mine.
Hehe. You don't need to change your avatar, bud. I may have joined in '04, but I hardly post (as you can see by my post count), so it's not like anyone really recognizes me.
Besides, having a pissing contest over sharing an avatar is just.... jack-assery of the highest order.

Well to the OP I kinda know what your talking about when you say the combat seems to sorta be out of sync with what your seeing. I think this is only be cause of the auto attack and how you have to use other abilities in between them, some things seem to go to fast. With my melee single blade character I noticed this a bit....however I simply stopped using my auto attack so much to see my animations and get that fluid feel of combat after I attained my "momentum" building skill which basically allowed my other click abilities to regenerate energy. Not so sure about the "sync" of combat with ranged characters...the few I made seemed pretty in time to me giving the fact that after I gained enought click abilties I would pause it ocassionally to do my other attacks. But if you feel really bad about this situation I would suggest doing what I do and give the game some more time so you can have fun with the other things in the game. And also give the game itself time to fix this slight graphical/"syncing" issues.
