Whats the most Evil thing you have done to someone in an MMO?

beeker255beeker255 Member UncommonPosts: 351

Dunno why I started this maybe I wanted to confess lol. This will make me sound like a total douche but I can assure you I have a good heart and have played mainly buffer healer calsses in MMO's for around 8 years. I like to help others blah blah blah (just stalling)

So here goes....

In EVE I had tried the trial several times read up on it could never get into it till I finally did what most EVE players say to do and join a corp! Well this worked I started getting into EVE from this point. Now this corp wasn't a huge corp but it had some good EVE players in it and I started learning alot about EVE quick and started learning the ropes all was great. You really do learn alot about the things you can do in EVE this way. I was living in O.O and was thinking EVE is cool.

So how did I repay these nice people? I gained there trust bilked them of about 400mill and dumped it off to my better trained Alt on other account that was being trained correctly :) I still feel bad about it. This was not my own created idea I had read of other A holes doing this ....Dunno what it is about EVE that brought out my mean spirit but I did this.

For some reason once I learned the game I knew these guys would always see me as a little noob puppy and not a Equal and that if EVE is a cold place then I was going to be a ruthless outlaw!!! Or maybe its what I told myself to feel better about it. Either way I never became the ruthless outlaw guy it just wasn't in me!

i finally got out of Tortage in Aoc (i was an assassin) and was ganked by the same stupid tank 4 times.  The next day in a fit of rage i ended up ganking the same guy 5 times in a row as he tried to kill some crocs for a quest...the poor guy was my vent for my anger...oh well

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

I had a guy believe that I was a girl irl because I had a female avatar. I never actually said I was a girl, but I also didn't deny it and allowed him to believe it.

He gave me a lot of gifts and a lot of in game currency before it got too heavy and I re-rolled.

Just to verify your evilness was it a random guy or the same stupid tank?

just some random guy who was questing in my area (he also acted like he wasnt all that experianced with MMO's as he did the same thing over and over again and never watched his back).  I tried to gank the tank but due to the horrific balance issues and the lame ass no penalty for ganking lower level guys, i could never take him.

I am not an very evil person... but previously some guy in WoW pissed me off verbally one day while I was on my warlock... the next day he wanted to join a raid my priest was in for a dungeon that at the time was hard to get in. I basically told the raid leader that it was him or me... and of course no raid leader is going to throw away a priest for a rogue.

There's something about Eve that calls to everyone's inner douchebag. I guess it's just human nature, set loose in a framework that supports various flavors of evil but with zero actual consequences. For the life of me I can't think of another game that weaves the capacity for evil into its fabric as completely as Eve.

Short of ripping off the corp -- mainly because we ran it -- we did pretty much every underhanded thing you could do. And eventually I did just throw my sec status to the wind and became a rotten bastard of a pirate. Not the best, not the richest, and not the most fearsome PVPer by any means. Just a bastard. No threats, no ransom; not interested. I'll just take whatever didn't blow up, thank you. In fact, because of the goofy time-based skill system in the game, I dropped a couple hundred bucks on a really old character just so I could be an even bigger bastard.

That's the only game in which I've acted that way. Everywhere else I'm usually with the good guys. It's strange.

I think it's healthy. I let my inner douchebag do its thing in the virtual world and my real life stays friendly and pleasant.

And see by my nature if I had read about this without playing EVE I would be like damn what a douche but having played EVE your post made me chuckle the whole time reading it.

Hmm, I don't really consider anything I did in game evil.

Oh crap, maybe alot of things I did was evil, but I am just too evil to realize it.

I've booted people out of groups/raids because a better player or class came along. I usually feel bad doing it but sometimes you have one open slot and in order to get the healer in the group you need to invite his buddy. Or you just have too many damned <insert flavor of the week class here> in your group and a better class wants to join your group.

Of course when I boot someone for being a complete tool I don't feel bad at all.

I had the fun of Ninja looting a purple item from a tank in WoW when BC was the norm on a rare drop from a very hard dungeon. My toon was a hunter and my logic was hey it is a sword hunter can equip them so you better believe I will need roll on this. Then she or he or whatever had the nerve to call me out on it but not only that but also they posted a very long nasty ninja loot on me in WoW forums. I may of regretted then but now I laugh.

I guess the most recent was in Darkfall when I ganked the same guy again and again to raise my alignment. he was pretty pissed off, but it's part of the game and there wasn't many others around that I could kill

i was also pretty rude in WoW once, i was suppose to play tank with my pet, but I didn't really know how to tank well. So things didn't allways go perfect to say the least, but the other party members weren't really  giving their all either. But this one girl got really mad at me for not tanking properly, and blamed every mistake in the group on me. So I eventually called her a "fucking bitch" and put her on ignore and left the group in the instance.

I don't usually mouth of like that, it doesn't really do any good, i just ignore people now without cussing.

I don't really remember much evil that I've done, I'm usually a prety decent guy, though there's been alot of people that has disliked me or my actions, I wouldn't really say I did something "evil" as such.

I tried to play an evil character once, on RP and that was alot of fun, - the only problem was some couldn't figure that I was just RPing evil, even on a RP server...

    Ah, huntards.  I love huntards.

Most evil thing I've done involved a huntard.  Some dude had been camping Humar the Pridelord (only black lion in the game) for days, so he could tame him, he says.  Day or so goes by, guy is still in the Barrens, whining about Humar.  Next day, he's back in there, waiting on this spawn, and someone else posts in general that Humar had spawned.  I run over to the tree, north of Ratchet, just in time to see the dude start his tame.

And I kill Humar.  When Humar dies, he causes all the lions around the tree to aggro...and they attacked and killed the dude wanting to tame Humar.

Katsma is Lithuanian for 'he who drinks used douche fluid'.

i think theres 2 times happened awhile back, once was in EVE me and a buddy held a bs for ransom forgot how much it was after about 2 hours of holding him he decided he was gonna pay. He paid and then we still blew him up and podded him. Felt bad about it then. Laugh about it now!!!

Another was in WOW back in the days like before BC lol.... I was playing a priest and was just minding my own buisness and questing. This numnut comes up to me and trying to duel me. After clicking cancel 20 times i finally give in and dueled him. Mind Controled him and then jumped him off a vary high cliff. Only to find out he ened up rezing in a zone over cuz of where he died rofl.

I havent done many evil things in my life.

But id  consider this pretty like way evil...

So me and this guy would always trade account info and shit, so we could like run our self and what not.basicly we were pretty good friends, except he wouldnt shut up about how good he was(he wasnt good at all lol prob why it bothered me so much) so one day i got rlly upset and  just left the server, and it wasnt cuz he would stop bragging there was more to it. Well i played on the server alittle while longer with my alt, and he was bothering our other really good friend and he had his acct info also. so me and this guy no one liked atm were dueling. and i told my friend to get on his account while were dueling to fuck him up so ican win (i was in no gear sept like a green lol) and he did it and my friend had the great idea of just staight up hacking him... Well he never did get his gear back on that char, he just switched mains ti his rogue.. He was still pissing me hardcore, and i had hiss info still... so i got on his rogue (this one during bc before the fixed the ab bug were u could jump over the fence) and i did that little wall jump captued the whole ab bases, and got his account perm banned

One time i ganked a female gnome low level mage...i cryed after that...

  • devilisciousdeviliscious Member UncommonPosts: 4,359

This guy in my guild was annoying to me,  and I didn't want him talking to me at the time.. then he wanted to introduce me to one of his friends in game and I killed him and his friend when they started talking to me. I mean killing him wasn;t a bad thing, but killing his friend just bacause he was with him was kinda mean .. lol

Of course many people thought everything I did was evil.. the singing about their " parts",  the mass slaying of innocent kids,  being hired as a mercenary... though I never think of those things as bad, they are just part of the game. Though I do think it is bad to kill a player when they are under the assumption you are allies. I rather them know I will kill them ahead of time so they put up a fight and are prepared for it .

back when i was playing AO our guild/org had its ways to deal with beggers. for example, telling beggers they can get credits for free from guards by targetting them and pressing Q (the attack key) and when they replied that they died we told em to keep trying it till they got creds. i know of at least one person who tried it for several hours :)

    MMOs currently playing: -
About to play: Lord of the Rings Online
Played: Anarchy Online (alltime favorite) and lots of f2p titles (honorable mentions: 9Dragons, Martial Heroes, Dekaron, Atlantica Online)
