Guild Wars is Not A MMORPG

SO WHY IS IT ON THIS SITE

Because it's an RPG and this site isn't kept up and running by wishes and fairy dreams. I'd rather they advertise some good RPG's along with the MMO's than something like Pokemon or some half assed football game.

Gonna go ahead and guess it's because...they...paid for the space?

I don't believe the people who run this site are going to turn down a rather hefty sum of cash simply because a game isn't an mmo.

Yeah and while watching the superbowl I noticed an ad for Coke-a-cola!

I mean, c'mon people FOOTBALL AND COLAS ARE DIFFERENT!  Obviously if I like football I have no interest in cola, and in fact have no interest in any other aspect of life - so only show me football ads when I'm watching football.  Thanks

(the above are lies; I don't actually watch football.)

According to people on this site all new MMOs are single player anyways, as long as there is any instancing whatsoever.

So if your going to play a single player game, might as well play a good one. And I just started playing it by the way, and yes it does kick ass.

I dont mind them advertising solo games on here. After all most MMO's these days are you doing quests as people race past you, so whats the differance? :)

After playing Dragon Age for a couple hours, it truly is an awesome game.

My original point was that we have not seen ads for other single player blockbuster games here at MMORPG.  Maybe we'll see more soon as there are some big games that have recently released and more to be released soon.  Borderlands, GTA4:BoGT, L4D2, MW2, etc etc.

In the end, the US dollar will still be green no matter how you get it.

Even if I put it in Red food coloring, and use it to make paper mashay DnD Red Dragon dolls?
