General: Fallout MMO Screenshots Surface

A trio of screenshots allegedly from Interplay's Fallout Online project aka "Project V13" have surfaced at the Vault Wiki.

The new screenshots were discovered and uploaded by official Interplay forum user "Ausir" who claims they were released by Interplay as part of official court documents to demonstrate that the project is currently in production.

Fallout 3 is only one the best games of all time. I suppose you could have hoped it was more like Dragon Age or the original Fallouts, but the game they made is freakin amazing!
I would much rather interplay build this than bethesda considering it is their baby. They have done the arial view combat now if they do 3d 3rd person im pretty sure they will blow it out of the water. They wont make a game just to make one, we wont see this game released for a long time. So good luck interplay.

I don't see how Bethesda can win this court battle. I don't know everything about the case, but from what I've seen, it looks like Bethesda is just trying to stall them to the point where interplay gives up.

Why? Bethesda won't make an MMO. Or at least they have not announced plans to, even if they win. They just don't want interplay profiting.

The only fallout game actually made by interplay and what do you know, it was absolute crap, interplay blows.

You can be disappointed that's fine, however make sense when expressing it, and acknowledge the stage of development this game is in. Maybe it's just me,but those screens (to me) look a lot like fallout 3. Down to the lighting being used and shadowing. Textures though low rez look very much like those in F3. Is it identical?, no however there's plenty of similarity between the two, that's excluding the I.P..

I'm not sure these look "that bad". Especially if the idea is that it's an mmo with a lot of people on the screen.
Also, for people who are familiar with fallout 3, could these have been made with the toolset from fallout 3? Or is the art design different? I'm just wondering if someone made a mod and used the toolset and for some reason people are calling it "fallout 3 mmo"?

Fallout 1 and 2 was made by Black Isle Studio, it was pulished by Interplay.
Similar IMO, but I don't think I would say it was done in F3's engine.

I guess some people find that fun, but for an MMO, there needs to be a bit more. Thanks god it's back home in Interplay that produced together with Black Isle the first two Fallouts which are considered to be the best rpg's of all time.

To boot, you seem to think companies make games, not individuals on teams. Most of the original Blackisle/Fallout developers are at Bethesda.

fallout3 was horrible it was just like a skinned morrowind, which itself was pretty boring
