FINALLY! A vampire MMO that looks like it's worth something. The devs seem to have an impressive history.
Anyways, yeah, I've been trying several things to get an alpha invite and all have failed for me so far. xD
Anyone else looked at it/trying to get into alpha as well?
Anyone played and can tell me if it's worth playing?

Is it a mmo? a google search brings up a facebook game.
It's a facebook game pretending to be an mmo. Now they're redoing it in flash to be more like everything else. So to sum it up, yes it's a facebook game and that's it. You can't play it w/o adding it on facebook so there we go it's just another flashy facebook game and nothing more.
It's labelled as the first real MMO to run through social networking sites. Basically, it's a bunch of ex-SOE employees trying to make a social MMO in Flash that has depth, accessibility, can be played literally for 5 minutes of 5 hours, has plenty to do, is based in a universe that's popular and runs through your Facebook account so that you can log in with ease (Twitter is going to be implemented soon too apparently).
Considering it's done by them, and boasts a lot of neat features, and is a fully featured 3D MMORPG, not to mention the only vampire MMO I really think looks worth anything.

Yes i did. I read up on it completely. I looked at the site i read up on the company. I did ALL of this when that little "free key" thing from mmorpg.com came up. So i know about the game. And that's all it really is. It's nothing more really then a flash facebook game. I doubt it'll have too much depth as most of these companies lack it completely
. But go right ahead and play it if it'll tickle your fancy.
I for one, howerver, will be wiating for a REAL vampire mmo to come out onto the market not just another one of these hack and slash deals.

You mean like horny 13 year old girls who all they want to see is their Twilight crap? No thanks. Oh well this is just my opinion on the whole vampire thing.

ccp's supposeldy making a vampire mmo. HOpefully theirs will be with real vampires and not this "i sparkle in sunlight and live in teh forest" bullshit. Trust me i know what vampires are. And twilight isn't it. It's a series of stories wrote by a dumbass who doesn't know how to write then all the people who like the stories are doing so because they're all pathetic and imagine themselves as bella b/c they're all that sick and depraived.
I never said it was good. Just defending the effort. On the other hand, I'm eagerly awaiting the one from some of the people that made Shadowbane. Can't remember the name atm but it looks great.

Yeah i guess... but honestly i couldn't stand it. So i spent my time after they wouldn't shut the fuck up about it, dismissing everything they said and completely ruining the series for them by showing all the flaws in the storyline and essentially making them have to reread the story for the15th time to see if what i said was true or not. Also i'm a lucky one i guess, my girlfriend hates the stories and agrees that they suck and are a horrible travesty upon literature.
edit: you obviously don't know that it's not a majority of 13 year old girls who love twilight. It's 13-22 year olds. So if you're a single guy it's an easy way to get a date by "pretending" to have read teh stories. I personally pretended to read them so i could mock them. Since the people i was talking to had read them 13 tiems i had to have "facts" to back up my "statements". I wrote an entire article on uncyclopedia back when the second book just came out. I made a humoroous take upon it, but then now it's all gone and it's some shitty article and mine's been wiped since i never went back to check upon it.
