Spare? I don't think anyone have a key at all..
I you get the preoder package you get 2 keys:
1) For buyer, for all beta events
and 2) a friend pass which will allow one person to play one beta event.
So yes, there are beta keys out there, if someone has a friend pass they aren't using.

just pre order if your such a fan of the game then you can be in all the beta events you want.
If it was possible to get the package here I would... But I can't buy on-line and the stores here haven't heard of GW. So don't tell me to pre-order, I've been looking, and I looked really good for it

like i said it's very easy to get it shipped to most places, so there is no excuse unless you REALLY have looked and can't get it, as i said on another thread, let me know countries and i will find a place for you to order from.
either that or you're all trying to say you can't buy the game when in reality you'd just rather get free beta key than pre-order yourselves...
no offence but i do get wound up when people obviously haven't looked around and say that thy cant order it.
if you dont want to buy it until release cos you don't have the money, fair enough, but dont say that you can't get it as in most cases it just involves a little scouting, and now i've even offered to do that for anyone...

Well heres the deal. Tomorrow i WILL be on the net from 9AM-1PM my time. I have recieved 6 emails all together about my spare friend key that i have not used since i pre-ordered the game. NOW to be fair to all of the people that were so polite in their emails to me and YES i would love to play online with all of you, i will start a little "Contest" no im not playing games i just believe in fairness amongst gamers. So if you are interested please reply to this and ill give the details.

Guild wars rocks. the pre-order i have has to be shipped to a US address for me to recieve my beta key so i can play the game (thats from EB Games) Andre at EB Games told me in an e-mail from them this:Hello Nightstalker,

So....I called them due to me being in AUSTRALIA and want my ITHAS BOW. so.......I had to ask a mate on the other side of Australia that had a CC (due to me not having one) and have him ask a friend in the US after conversing with andre about MY BETA KEY thew previous day at international call rates for 40 minutes so i can play for the UPCOMING BETA WEEKEND . Now i will have my key thanks to my dedication to playing the game since australia doesn't even know what Guild wars is in gamestores around the country (inc EB Games Australia HQ) so with that in mind i have a contact,an outlet,a Cd Pre-order package on its way,and from this post e-mails from aus kids that would like to have the game upon world release. So for you people that are stuck having a hard time getting a pre-order from the US to britain. ask a friend in your country you know and trust(and has a CC and a contact in the US that can forward that package to your home direct from the US of A.
Anywhere else on the planet will work. All you have to do is believe that you are capable of asking around to get what you want.
