Im finally realizing why I dont like WoW as much as FFXI!

This may be really super shallow, but my main complaint of WoW is that theres no cute boys to gawk at. Seriously... The Human males all look like theyre 30+, with oogly faces. The Night Elf males have HUGE noses, and also look 30+, and Dwarves and Gnomes, and all the Horde races, are, well, horrible looking. (N guys get Night Elf females to look at, theyre not so bad looking, girls get NOTHING!)
In FFXI, at least I had some cute Humes and blond Elf boys to stare at while I partied with them (in downtime I mean, would have been horrible to be staring at them while setting up a skillchain + magic burst, plus woulda had some really pissed party members :X )
But yeah, wheres all the cute boys in games? Any in EQII? I havent played it yet, but I might if theres cute boys.. Also, seems EQII crafting is more hardcore (which I like).

You see guys saying Night Elves in WoW are hot, or how jiggly their breasts are, etc.. As soon as a girl asks for a game with cute guys (and a good crafting system), it's weird >.>;
Im being serious.. I dont always go on a game to grind or quest or anything.. Sometimes I just go on to chase cute guys.. When theres no cute guys to chase, I find myself playing less.. :S Hence why Im getting a tad bored of WoW.. All there is to do is questcraftgrind. No cute boys to chase when Im bored of the first 3 >.>;
Like, in FFXI, I would go to Elf newbie town, n give items to low lvl blond elves.. Cuz theyre just so sexy.. :X

Actually, she has a valid point. Why are the males in WoW so ugly compared to the females?
Most games do provide for equal opportunity viewing.
Ty Oakstead. But it seems the gaming industry is much like the adult film industry in this aspect. The guys usually have beer-bellies n are really, really ugly, while the girls are practically off the runway, as to fit the guy's fantasy (low to average guy, hot girl). Its not fair!

That is true though. When I create a mage or a rogue, I don't want some huge muscled warrior looking mage or rogue... I want a wimpy skinny looking character cause they are supose to have bad defense but excel in powerful magic or amazing stealth and dexterity.
And the Undead need hot chicks. I think the only "good looking" female characters in the horde are the Trolls. :P
Aw well, that's one of the only sucky things about WoW... character customization! At least the gameplay is still the best of it's kind or else I would of quit WoW long ago.

Yeah, troll girls have cool hair n nice bodies. Human girls are nice looking also, and Night Elf girls are pretty too...
But all the guys = eww! Actually, Ive played a few games lately that were the same. The girls, of course, were very attractive, and the guys were old n hairy. I mean, come on -.-; Its disgusting.. You can tell these games were made by older men, who obviously dont care wat the males look like.
If this trend keeps up, I expect less and less REAL fems playing MMOs. As if we're not rare already. And no, I dont mean the 14 yr old boy playing a fem character shouting "IM A LESBIAN, I LIKE TO MAKE OUT WITH GIRLS!!!"
Not many females making the games, not many females playing the games. There is perhaps a problem here.
But if game devs hire more females to make decisions and do character modelling there will be more females enjoying the games. And if they still make the sexy chicks most of the guys will probably continue to play. Guess you'll have to make some noise to be heard, as you are doing now.
Lots of community representatives are female.

Careful now, that's 70% of the mmo players, it's a very powerful group.
Lineage 2 guys look pretty good too.
Hell, all guys from asian games look better than those from US or European mmo's.

Go play Sims online or go shopping or something. You are NOT a true RPer and are showing it.
RPers care about Game content and not sexual stimulation in regards to characters ingame.
These are MMO's and even thou I wouldn't mind to see more skin on the females I tend to play and enjoy the game for what it depicts and not for a personnal sexual fantasy to live out online.

Actually, if someone were truly roleplaying 100%, being attracted to avatars of the opposite sex would make perfect sense; unless they were playing in some abstract game world where babies did not come from mommies and daddies. Besides, this is hardly a serious thread.

that is what she wants, more skin but on guys. she didnt say anything about making out with her monitor pretending it was a guy or anything.
Guys think giant scary looking monsters are cool. Thats why the game is full of giant scary monsters.
If you think monsters are icky and you don't like them, then you really shouldn't be playing this game.
