I do not like Cryptic, therefore I will not purchase their products. It's that simple for me.

I voted no. I would reconsider if an viable open world PvP system is ever implemented ( star base takeovers, planet fights, quadrant control).

Unfortunately that can never happen.. With Cryptic's engine of instancing everything, there can not be a persistent ongoing universe to fight over.. This is why I like locked "server" games where you are locked into that server and can have an effect on the world.. WoW does this with Wintergrasp and that I enjoy, regardless if during peek hours or not..  Cryptic used the instance engine because it's CHEAP.. that is a fact too.. It's the easiest and cheapest way to design and load games for online play..  Why am I not surprised.. :)

Yep, already did. No the game is not for everyone but no game is. It's sad the way some people have to teardown a game just because they are not interested in it.

Best game I've played since EQ then WOW now STO. Yes for me it ranks up there with both of them. That's perfectly fine that soem poeple don't like the game. I most likely don't like all the games they like but I find STO quite refreshing in the over done MMORPG market.

The pre-order bonuses killed it for me, the fact that I would have had to preorder from gamestop to get a TOS style enterprise doesn't sit well with me.

When will MMO Developers stop using such pathetic tactics to try to get more people to order their product? To me it shows a shoddy product that they're hyping up with exclusive "get it now or never" content.

That's my rant, I won't be purchasing or subscribing to this game.

I have out-grown the need to be the first in anything for any game. Vanguard and AOC dealt me a good lesson. So yes I will wait and see. Three months I will check it out.

Better off playing Global Agenda tbh.. its a ton more fun then STO.

sadly, it wont ever be as popular due to the sheeple not having a recognised IP to follow :(

I'm not over-impressed with STO, but the huge percentage of "No" votes to "Yes" votes is a bit of a surprise.

At this time there are a good 2/3rds of the community voting no.  That is high but, I really anticipated higher after my stint in the beta.

I guess there are more who really really WANT to like the game than I thought.  The Maybe's are those who WANT to play in a ST universe but just having issues with the actual implementation of the world(s).

Say hello, To the things you've left behind. They are more a part of your life now that you can't touch them.
