Most anticipated is Planetside Next, but I'm not sure it is even real.
DAOC 2 would be interesting - why of why that game isn't happening totally eludes me...
All the other games I'm aware of seem kind of boring to me, but I'll read the reviews and maybe jump in if the reviews and uploaded in-game videos look good.
For those looking forward to Warhammer 40K, THQ is gonna give a big reveal of the MMO at this year's E3. Here's hoping Vigil has what it takes to craft this thing. I think they're a pretty solid studio, myself.
For now, Fallen Earth and it's immediate future are what's most anticipated for me though.
DITTO, and that is all for me.
EDIT:
To be entirely honest....I forgot to add ONE thing to that. When Darkfall 2010 (hopefully) adds environmental sounds....I will absolutely be buying it to check it out too. DFO has been appealing to me for quite some time now, but I'm afraid that immersion in a game world is far too important a part of the gaming experience for me to play without the environments being "alive" via environmental sounds.
since i don't like the current trend of games that are made to be playable by 8yr olds my options are quite limited. So for now i'm going to keep my fingers crossed that mo or earthrise will deliver and maybe keep an eye out for perpetuum (mech based for anyone wanting to know) for something original

Word - DAOC 2 wtf were they thinking with Warzimmer sigh - DAOC pre expansion true synergy of MMORPG and skill bar nothing since sod grfx (DX10) who wants to hit leaves on trees - sod localised expensive voice talent - give us a game (hint) and sweet baby Jesus give us direct feedback (forum or otherwise) developers what utterly fooks community off always has always will - give us a bloomin conduit of news ... how many games does it take!! We understand post development everyone gets booted but for the love of God (or whoever) keep a couple of ppl on to communicate with the guys pouring the 10s of thousands of $$ into the account every week not rocket science! Old man rant over - sorry had day with Sony Europe today - mind boggling!
can i add another beside GRAND MUNDO? warhammer 40k (thq)
Ohhhh. Forgot about that one.
Make that two for me, World of Darkness and Warhammer 40k.

yes planetside 2 is real they made a survey last year !asked player what they wanted in planetside 2
Darksiders was very complete, very fun, very polished. One can only hope that Vigil Studios will follow their freshman title with a solid sophomore release that ups their standards.
The current trend of 'past' fantasy, of which most is crap fantasy, would receive a fresh competitor of 'future'.
The IP is well known, and the source material is rich. The game and community should launch with both diversity and depth.
It's not a remake. Although I look forward to FFXIV, and enjoyed EQ2 to a degree, this is a fresh IP onto the scene.
40k. Easily the most anticipated.
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc. We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be. So - Stand up, pull up your pants, and walk away. - MMO_Doubter
most anticipated for me? DC Universe Online for sure, also watching the Secret World, but i like DCUO's no sub platform better...and i *need* my cape fix...lol
Even though there is virtually no information out there my most anticipated MMO is World of Darkness online, just because its CCP and its based on White Wolfs World of Darkness IP, also since White Wolf and CCP are one company now it should make it easier to develop.
Second most anticipated and farther along that WoD is The Secret World just because of the concept.
How about....the one that isn't a) Made to cash in off of WoW's success in ALL ways, a few copied aspects would be fine. b) Completely instanced. c) Made with the intention of quick profit and no longterm customers.
Oh wait, that doesn't fit any of the MMO's coming out any time soon.

FFXIV?...
a) Want to be set apart from the rest of the MMOs
b) The world will be seemless, minus the major cities
c) Developed with the intention of keeping former and current XI players and then some
Ah, and the WAR40K MMO (obvious by my avatar) if they manage to pull it off. I think they will, THQ is a pretty competent company.
I had this discussion with my friend, we both agree THQ have published some good games. Most of those games were real time stratagies (dawn of war, supreme commander, company of heroes) and although the only game Vigil have made was darksiders, you could argue that vigil has never made a bad game in that case.
Think about some of the best alternatives to WoW right now: Eve (ccp), Guild Wars (NCsoft are big now, but not when the game first came out) Pirates of the burning sea (flying lab) second life (linden lab) all smaller companies, all creating well respected and - crucially - different games. Add to this mix the vast popularity of the 40k ip, and I honestly think the possiblities are very exciting.
The trap it must not fall into, or limit as much as possible, as to be labelled the next "WoW killer". The goal should not be to take as many people playing WoW and get them to play 40kO instead. The game marketed, imo, at all those who miss the shit out of planetside; who were completely dissapointed by the averageness of Tabula Rasa; who played the tabletop/read the lore/collected the pieces; who loved dawn of war. Concentrate on making a game these people want to play and others should follow.

Guild Wars 2 alllll the way...but right now im currently lvl 21 ranger in Aion. Doing pretty good for me so far
I really like how GW is just buy the retail game then play for as long as you want. I still play GW, just because I can go back to it whenever I want.
I know that gameplay mechanics are being improved in GW2 (or so i've heard) but anything else exciting coming about GW2?

Well, I can't pick just one.
TOR for my themepark kick and Earthrise for the sandbox side of me.
APB is also on my radar. Mostly because of the customization but, let's face it, it looks pretty damn fun.
Ah, and the WAR40K MMO (obvious by my avatar) if they manage to pull it off. I think they will, THQ is a pretty competent company.
APB
TOR and Project Copernicus
The 40K MMO... oh man, I cant wait to see what they're going to do with it. Hope it doesnt disappoint.
The Secret World... A fresh, new, unique setting, I hope they make a fresh, new, unique game to go with it.
SW:TOR... I dont know, everything I read keeps turning me OFF of the game, but I want to see how it turns out.

Though I somehow feel my anticipation is in vain.

Craft of Gods, its a bit under the radar but has a lot of potential.
Better to be crazy, provided you know what sane is...
