Have you never had any experience with "indie" dev teams?

Point stands, naive buyers who were to lazy to do any research deserve no sympathy.

So the customer should not always expect professional service from a EU company?  "Open beta" is not an excuse, again let me link you people to these 2 articles.

You paid early so you can play the beta, well here it is.  Sure its not going great but it is what you paid for.  You will also get the game when it is launched, whenever it may be.  They made no promises on when their game would be fullly up and running.  They gave you exactly what they promise, but what they promised was very vague.  As a consumer you always have to check things out.  Why would you simply no wait to buy the game when it goes live if you did not want to wait for the beta.  Sure the company was a bit sketchy on the details, because they didn't know where they were at when they offered this "deal." Like i said you paid for an early beta and full access to the game when it launches.  Games get delayed ALL THE TIME.  So you can always just wait for the game to go live and not play the beta, no need to whine how much it sucks.  And I can already tell you that if you expected anything more out of this "deal," I don't know what to tell you.  It sounded dumb at the start.  Pre-ordering a game so early before you have no data is always foolish.

Again, why are you guys saying its the customers fault?  Why can't we expect a professional product?  Why are you guys always blaming it on the customers and not Starvault?

I am in no way saying that the state of the game is not SV's fault, because it is 100%.  BUT when people say that they got ripped off or that they deserve more is wrong.  You got your beta access and you will get your full game, there is no debate here on that.  If you give your money to a small company and aren't willing to put up with issues like a bad beta and a cheap box, then I don't know what to say to you.  You can't say you were ripped off because you should have know what you were getting into.  If you are going to give your money to any company before you see a finished product, you base your purchase on faith and faith alone.  People buy games that don't like all the time, but keep in mind it isn't finished yet.  As I said before this is what you paid for, all the painful testing and a full game when the time comes, nothing more.  You gave your money to an unfinished product and aren't happy with it.  But you were in no way ripped off and nobody here should say that .  This happens all the time in purchases and to investors.  Sorry SV made a craptastic game, but they did not rip you off and its your own fault for buying.  Both parties are at fault, SV clearly doesnt want to admit their game isn't going well and the costumers want to say they got ripped off, both need to man up.
