Sorry, you just fail to notice that growth and potential age of MMO players.
Tell me, why did you think, a Lego MMO was directed towards a grown man?
Or Hello Kitty Online for that matter, you just seem to think that every MMOs that come out should be tried or played by you, but it's not the case. MMOs for kids are coming out, "better watch the **** out!"
I think people will be surprised with how well LU will do.

Now Im not saying that this game is going to suck but It kind of feels like a piece of my soul just died when I saw it.
lol far from it. The genre...by genre do you mean the 1000000000000 elf/dwarf/orc cookie cutter games? Oh please, give me something new and interesting.
I will keep my eye on this game. Potential is so great. If it will be half as fun as Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga i'm up for it. That was my favorite NDS game. I learned a lot playing lego, and i had infinite fun when i was kid.
Heh when I saw the topic I thought this was about the trailer saying "Save imagination" that was mocking the other MMOs
For me Lego:Universe is the most promising MMOs, SWTOR, GW2, FF14 seems boring to me but L:U sounds like something new and innovative and most of all FUN.
If WoW = The Beatles and WAR = Led Zeppelin Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
Perhaps this will finally be the WoW killer all you trolls have been hoping for.
-Unless they make giant lego robots to destroy Blizzard i don't see that happening :P
Orc vs Legos, now that would be the game for me.
I haven't paid it much mind, didn't like Lego's as a kid (they were made of wood back then) and it has a perception in my mind of being geared towards a younger audience.
But variety is good, and if it turns out to be the next great sandbox game, I'll give it a go.

I see where you're coming from, but honestly, the cash-shop games and 'asia-grinders' ( and most of the MMORPG communities) have tarnished the genre more than Lego ever could. Personally, I find Lego to be one of the best toys ever invented, and while I haven't played any of the Lego computer games, yet, I might even check this one out.... if it in fact involves building stuff!

What? Really? Get over your pretentious self. A MMO is a GAME, so what if this one caters to younger players? And variety is the spice of life.
I am so looking forward to playing this with my son.

This is like saying, "oh damn, there are kids cartoons out there, I can't watch a movie ever again cause they are all childish".
