Hall of Famer gamer playing nothing atm...

KopogeroKopogero Member UncommonPosts: 1,685

Hello,

I must say I am deeply concerned for the fact that I reached a point where my 18 years of gaming experience only helped me avoid 95% of the games that been released for the past 2-3 years. I remember when I was like 5-6 years old I couldn't wait to go to the store to enjoy EVERY POSSIBLE Nintento game that was released out there. I say hall of famer because I doubt this planet has anyone out there who:

a) Spent 13-14 hours every day, 18 years straight (including on big holidays as well as skipping at least 50% of primary/high school classes just so I can enjoy gaming)

b) Played most games from all genres: driving, fighting, rpg, mmorpg, puzzle, sport simulations, quizes, fps and so on. I had good sources and connections for game access later on to allow me record gaming experience.

c) Ranked among the top in latest MMO's I've been involved ever since I got my PC 9 years ago. Games like Half Life, Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament, Star Craft, Star Wars Galaxies (so I am mentioning these big title games) that i've won rewards  national tournaments and so on, but anyways....

I am not here to brag, but consider this as my intro so you have an idea of my background because like I said for the past 2-3 years literally I've avoided 95% of all games released due to the fact that as time went on I was simply more and more picky about what quality type of game I am going to play. This exceptional resume allowed me simply to save lot's of $ not buying crap games and make lot's of $ as a great gamer so this leads to my topic purpose and point:

Graphics, genre, storyline, combat, crafting, endgame purpose and so on play a role, but that role is minimal when it comes to developer making a game that will grasp the attention of someone with my status. The big reasons why we are having games after games dying and dying faster than ever with such big investments is simple. It's not other games who were dominent like WOW. You cannot blame someone else for your failure it's the fact you do not have the right lead game designer, which should be someone with my status or close.

I got $, but I don't got a gg atm. I know many of you will find yourself in the same circle as you gain the gaming experience, which is why I decided to post this topic dedicated to offer my service to any company who is a game developer and intends to make significant $. Of course, I will accept the best offer which I will receive and I only accept lead game designer spot. Feel free to PM me with your offer, ty. This is your best opportunity since I do not see a game on the market that I shall enjoy in near future. (If I was that 6 year old I am sure this would be otherwise, but hey it's better to be a lead designer and make my game than)

a) Start gaming in real life until I dominate and conquer this planet so I can lead it because I do not see anyone else delivering what I could.

Oh and please tell us if I am wrong. Discuss about your "gg" good game. I would be really happy if I was wrong and I am missing a worthy game out there.

I'm assuming you have an IT degree and years of experience actually developing games?

I'm making a game with a bunch of squares.  And you have circles things you can move and jump other circles.  The expansion pack contains pieces that have SPECIAL moves.

     I've been here a while...

You should of spent your time going to school and maybe learned how to make games yourself, or anything for that matter.

Ok... I got a little lost in all that... but did he just threaten to kill himself if he doesn't get hired as a game developer on the basis of having spent every waking hour for the past 18 years playing video games?

..I'm going to assume this is simply a troll... but wow. Just wow.

OK that was just plain sad... And probably the worst looking for work ad I have seen.

But I am impressed that this so called "Hall of Gamer"  with his extensive experience and knowledge just found this site half a year ago.

Hehe, the only place I know of where you can find a more obvious scam is in this solar system called Jita in the game Eve Online. The only difference between there and here is that in the game, scamming is allowed. In RL, it is not. This is guy is either a fraud trying to scam someone, or a nutter. Give me your money instead.

While i am sure this D-bag is only pretending to be serious, if on the off chance he really is this pathetic. . .

WTF? What developer in there right mind would even think for one second to give such a self-absorbed d-bag a job at there company based on what he claims is extensive gaming.

Let alone a self proclaimed "Hall of Flamer".

Here is an idea . . . Go to McDonalds and work there for two years, then demand ownership of the entire franchise because of your uber fry cook skillz. I am sure that will be just as successful as this lame attempt at stupidity/attention.

I wonder if you made this because your so out of touch with society, and mommy wants you to move out, that you actually thought this would work.

Haha a lot of unconstructive replys by those who have been unfortunate to oppose me or be on my side to withness my wrath. This is one of the reasons, the passion I got for gaming. Ownage. It's quite normal and very predictible, but yet entertaining those uncharted souls that waiting to be trained. At the end posters like these find themself with either two options after I completely destroy em. They either team up with me or I make em retire from their game. So which one is it? Hahaha

     Zero measurable accomplishments.

You think anyone cares that you won an imaginary tourny? No, they do not.

Why would you kill yourself if you didn't find a game to play?

Jimmac, thx for the constructive reply. In fact a month ago I subscribed to EVE, but unfortunately the game is quite limited when it comes to enjoyability in the dull combat system it offers while you grind and grind for days those repeatable missions and just farm isks, which again you could gain far cheaper irl (save way more time, but I refuse to involve real $ for progress) or wait months to train in some high level skill. It has surely its own light and exceptional qualities. I can go do some PvP or manufacturing, exploration, but what am I going to explore? The planets are not planets, sir.

You believe scamming irl is not allowed. We are living in a society where scamming is more legal and avoidable than ever before. We are having a 6 billion army of people, where most struggle to survive on daily basis. One of those reasons for this is that "scamming" Taking advantage of the weak, ignorant. The sad thing is at the end the scammers themself mostly find themself dead without anything better left behind in this world.

    I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm just picturing a tall, gangly individual with forearms the size of Popeye's cause of all the High School and RL that he's missed!
