That being said, if you want to conduct an official survey OP, I would approach the people here at MMORPG.com and ask them about doing it. People here will be less than enthusiastic about clicking on a blind link considering many unscrupulous people use that as a method to install malicious programs on others computers. That reason alone may not give you the kind of results you are looking for.

I took the survey and my computer did not blow up, nor did the hard drive automatically erase itself. Both my spyware and antivirus programs had no complaints, no signs of keyloggers or trojans or any of our other gamerfear-inducing enemies. The Qualtrics site appears very professional, and the survey asks some very interesting questions. I would be interested in the results.

Yes yes yes, some people do not feel they belong to one gender or another and I would like to include that data. But I get your sense of humor and I lol''d to. As for my lack of popular titles, if I get anymore results with some repeating patterns I shall add them to the list for the sake of stats. Thank you!

I do have one strange question to query about: Why is there a gender assignment to gay? That specific question asks about sexual preferance and offers Herto, Gay, Les and a couple of other options. So Gay is a male thing? Why not use the proper term; Homosexual? I have several female homosexual friends that will be very surprised to hear that as they do not like being refered to as Lesbian. As one of my friends puts she will "happly go gaily forward." I think she objects to a special term for female homosexuality.

As a gay female, I have to say....I agree. However, the term "lesbian" is commonly used by gay women, and I think many of them actually like it. Go figure. I have NEVER liked it, for exactly the reason you said. There is no "special" term for straight/hetero women, now is there? No. For myself, I just always used the term gay interchangeably for both male and female. But then again....I was gay before gay and bi women were considered "cool," and made into such a high dollar part of the porn industry for straight men who dug the fantasy of having two women to "service" them and/or for bi-curious straight women who used their "curiosity" as a way to make their man think they're ever so much more sexy. lol (I know, I know....it's not ALL like that.)
Anywhoooo....great survey, I thought. The way the questions were asked wasn't offensive to me, personally. I actually thought it was rather nice to even have an included option that accurately described my lifestyle. SO many surveys don't, you know. Often....we're an invisible denominator on surveys, as far as being considered a quantifiable factor to the surveyors.
