Yeah, it's been discussed here in other topics; alas I doubt that Mr. Muzyka meant real (boxed or even 'live') "expansions". (Plural is kinda weird per se in this case.). But I really hope they have plans for the future, even though I'm happy with the game now.

If you cant do a PQ that is setup to hard and require 6 person to do.... well... get more ? Cant get more ? then get in a guild ? Oh and if you wanna do the PQ in the first tier, why dont you come back when you're higher ? The game is about PvP and you can get all your PvP set by having some fun killing peoples, want more ? Work for it dammit !!!

I shall assume that English is not your first language, which is entirely fine, but it does appear as if you have not actually played WAR. I don't think there was one accurate statement in your whole post.

Thank you for expressing my thoughts precisely.

I have no problem at all working for what I want/need in a game and I certainly have no problem asking for help or grouping.  I also have no problem at all getting in the guild of my choice because I am not a WoWtard (a reference to the kind of player in WoW most sane people avoid).  I do, however, avoid doing a low-level PQ when I'm level 40 or asking a level 40 to come do it for me because there is no fun in that - it is precisely because I do enjoy working for it and not having others do the work for me that I had issues with the game and if this poster had carefully read my post, he would have understood that my point was that the times I personally tried the game, there were no players available at the levels required for the PQs (but there were plenty of high level players, which would have ruined the whole concept of "working for it" by letting high level players "carry" or "powerlevel" me through certain areas - which I refuse to do because it is not working for anything) in order to complete them.

As for not liking being nerfed, well, I do tend to dislike it when my class has been nerfed nearly every time I log in making it a mere shell of what it once was.  Balance can be achieved in many ways, I prefer the method of bringing other classes up to the same level rather than nerfing only one class, which is what WAR did for a very long time.  When last I played about nine or ten months ago, the game was still terribly imbalanced, but one class had been nerfed to near ineffectiveness while another was a near god.  To me, that is ridiculous, but if others are happy with it, then I am glad for them.

Maybe MMO is not your genre, go play Modern Warfare...or something you can be all twitchy...and rank up all night. This is seriously getting tired. -Ranyr

It figures, they do this AFTER I payed $40 for the client :(

Ah well, I've gotten plenty of enjoyment out of this game with a subscription and free trial account. Played every order class except for runepriest and have had a blast. Things bog down quite a lot in tier 3, where my main characters have been stuck, maybe someday I'll get them over the hump and check out the endgame I've been hearing so much about.

Hoping for an expansion, 3rd faction, new races like Skaven, Lizardmen, Wood Elves, Undead, ect ect. Won't hold my breath though

As usual they have it backwards. They should charge the initial box sale and after that not charge a monthly charge. The game isn't worth a monthly charge. Oh well, don't play anymore, don't care.

You're right.... English isnt my first language !

But i do play WAR and im not gonna stop enless the server are realy dead or SWTOR isnt a WoW PvE clone.

My statements were accurate as this is exactly what im thinking when im playing the game. So tired of peoples that want everything because they dont wanna work for it, just dont play if you want all the answers, the end game content at lvl 1, the full god set of the game, etc..etc..

The peoples that played this game and left are the one responsibles for the game to be this way now. When the game first came out, 3/4 of our guild left before getting 40. Why ? Because it was too hard to work to get to the endgame and there's a fabulous kiddy game called WoW where you can get to endgame in a few weeks.

Still today, WAR make me sick sometimes, peoples dont know how to play their toons because they zerg the whole place together and get freestuff with numbers. They wont engage the ennemies because they dont wanna die. When they do SC, they just dont know what to do against a good group coordinating on vent.

Peoples whined about PvP being too hard, they left, Mythic tried to work the things up to get them back and all they've done is giving more free stuff ! Most of the old DAOCer and those that love WAR arent happy with decisions Mythic takes, still this is the MMO with the best PvP out there and only peoples that dont PvP leave a PvP game....

If you still think i dont play WAR... Im gonna advertise our guild and let you learn some French : Armatatenebrae.clanfree.net

I think so, after a year or two anyway. Except if you're WoW and don't need to of course.

Are they doing a welcome back period for pervious players too? I bought it when it came out and wouldn't mind seeing how it is now.

there's a free 10 days for those coming back. Lots of peoples are using them and paying back since Faion fail miserably and since Mythic worked on the problems WAR had.

Not like they did much besides make it so you no longer had to put in a code. Of course, I know some people found places to get that free month at only eight to ten bucks... also, by doing this they're secretly putting more money in their pockets. Look at EQ, they're offering 2.50 for the game and a free month, but no matter what, from here on out, you'll have to pay 15 bucks in order to play WAR for a month.

Absolutely nothing but Epeen to stroke for saying "I told you so". Its not shutting down, people enjoy the game, get over it, QQ, kthxbai.

    Exactly.

People have said the same things about EQ, SWG, DAOC and a slew of other games that still, to this day, have paying customers. As long as there is a profit to be had, or even the belief that profit can be had in the future, game companies will usually keep the servers open. And not listing every concurrent user is a poor attempt at trolling. My brother has had a sub to this game since launch and only has one level 40. He plays a character to the tier he likes and either deletes that character and starts again or makes another one altogether. I played for eight months and deleted almost all of my toons when they hit 40 and started over. Most of the people I still know playing this game continue to sub for the lower tier SC's. The end game content sucks, everyone knows this, and that's why any list of users that only includes the level that most people DO NOT want to play pointless.

scroll up and read my post... if your brother cant have fun, maybe he need to get into a guild, or play something else... This game isnt about doing everything solo, you need a group and coordination to win. With a good group of 7 to 8 person we can kill more than a warband, so about 24. No one is RR80 yet, no one has the greatest gear of the game, no one cheat... How can we do this ? Coordination ! And lots of peoples playing are just stupid... Thanks to Blizzard for that ! Peoples are so used to charge a tank while playing a rogue class or a caster...

IF you have more fun in the first 3 tiers... then maybe its because you get rolled everytimes you get in tier 4....

You misunderstood me. My brother just prefers to play the lower tiers as I did when I played. We both have limited play times, and you're right on the one point, we have trouble finding good consistent groups. Without those tier 4 is unbearable so we choose to play the lower tiers. He doesn't hate the top tier, he just prefers the lower ones. I wasn't trying to say that as a rub against the game per se, (for him, I personally hated them), but as a perfect example why only counting the level 40's on a server as the only people playing as being a bad idea. I got used to seeing a lot of the same people in those lower tiers that enjoy WAR for the same reasons they play FPS shooter games and find it highly suspect to give a number that only includes the one level that the majority of the people I know personally never play.

As of March 28, 2010, the game has, on average, less than 2,000 concurrent users.

    The numbers speak for themselves.

Coming in late.  But that doesnt surprise me.  Sustainment of game popularity was always questionable and it is not just isolated to this title since 2008.
