being a beta this game is crazy, it fps, full loot, man you guys need to try out this mmo.
ive become a fan after playing for a month, the developers even talk to us, i got a developer to answer some of my questions, i know about future stuff, that ohers will not know about yet 
this game just owns more and more, as it develops.and the best bit is, its free and its only beta 
so it will not be as grand as the release.
i just had to make this thread, because there is some trolling going on this thread by some guy who is making lots of accounts and i just thought wow, what a lie, wow, mmorpg.com is getting a bad name from this guy.
but yeah try mortal online you won't be disappointed.
but it has some server issues at the moment and its a beta, and its like every other beta its not perfect, but i tell you this now, its one of the most funnest betas i have been in.

I agree, they have alot of things to do before they can charge a subscription fee but it's in bets right now and you can play for free. It's a fun game and a breath of fresh air however be prepared for the same three accounts to come in here and flame us all for enjoying the game as it stands now.

Well I've been around these forums for a while and never posted bad about this game before. That said, this game is absolutely TERRIBLE in its current state. It doesn't just suck balls, it pretty much gags on them them. (Hehe) It feels like it's in more of an alpha stage than a beta stage.
I will say that with max graphics, the game looks very nice, and it has some very interesting ideas, but it needs a LOT of work before anyone but the most devoted fans (plz people stop using the word fanbois, it pisses me the hell off) will spend money to play it.

The game gonna be a great game for those who like them its most likley gonna be a niche game similar too darkfall too many ijits out there who started there mmo hobbies after wow and have no idea what a true mmo should be old school UO style is the way it should be Immersion. Think im pretty outa context with this post so ill shut up now
Maybe you should write about what you like to underline your point? Everyone can write "it's so good!". And I know a few games where developers talk to you and are active (Fallen Earth?). But agreed, everyone who is interested should try the free open beta now.

Like I said in another post, once you get over the personal hype, you will find out this game is terrible... Does not matter if the developers call you on the phone to see how your day is going, they are inexperienced and they are unable to do anything right to this point.
i tried it for a week or so and i gotta say i didnt like it one bit. i think this is the worst beta ive been in. even MxO had a better Beta in my opinion
i hope theyl fix it so i can try the "real thing".
I agree. I am also really enjoying the game. It has obviously got some problems at the moment, but nothing that can't be fixed before release.

Game is awful. You run around till you get some armor, then the game is over. Nothing player-driven is implemented into the game besides basic housing without any customization.
The game is fun if you enjoy just being an avatar running around doing absoulutely nothing.

I find these threads curious by nature. We have, on this particular forum, a thread where people are encouraged to test the game to personally experience it. On that thread, the same people that are now here slating the positive opinion of someone, say that their intention is but to allow everyone to hold their own opinion. Isn't it somewhat backwards thinking to encourage people on the other thread to try the game, and then on the other -- when they did so -- dictate how they should see the game. Personal opinion is just that, personal. Hence, I see no reason for you guys to come to this particular thread and discredit others for not sharing your personal opinion.
It might sting a little, but I suggest that instead of "forcing" others to share your beliefs, you guys take a deep breath, write your own opinion or critique of the game in a coherent fashion. Then, if your contribution to the discussion lies within those arguments, expand or hone them or then just leave them be. Move on, move on. If there's nothing to see and do, it is of no concern to you, what others see and do.

There is a point where "personal opinion" crosses the line into "propaganda" and "baseless ignorance". Case in point the OP, which in no reasonable manner could be considered anything but a post from someone either grossly misinformed or someone who is a complete shill for Starvault. It's not a case of "I like bards/No bards suck!". Things are clearly and factually wrong with the game at the moment, of which is being completely ignored/ glossed over/ lied about.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Meanwhile this clearly sounds like someone dictating how you should feel about the game/propaganda.

I would tend to agree with you would we speak of investing any money on the game, i.e., from a released game. Also, atleast the original message of this thread just mentions the game is "fps, full loot, pvp" which all are features currently in the game. He also mentions lag issues with the game server. He just so happens to be thrilled with "developer listening to his suggestion" that he omits what you consider gross neglect of the facts.
It can be equally said that, say, monitoring the stock price of the company or (intentionally) mis-reading every quote from the game developer to make it appear something that it is not, does't constitute much different kind of behaviour. Still, you are not there stating that it is "propaganda" or "baseless ignorance" albeit it is echoing similar levels of ignorance. There is nothing wrong being critical and stating that the game is but a shell, my argument was moreso focused on the purpose of it being brought up on every thread, when the same people are encourging people to try the game with (seemingly) sole agenda to find more support to their own argument. When this does not happen, for one reason or for another, a well-architected stamp of "shill" and fanboi are drawn out of back-pocket. Therefore my original input.
The purported factual wrongs in the game features pointed out in the original message, that of PvP and FPS, are hard to notice. You can fight in the game, the fight occurs in a fashion similar to most first-person shooters, and you can kill other players and loot all their gear. Hence, you are stating that the factual wrong lies in the enthousiasm shown by the person posting the original message, which, as far as I am considered, is a matter of opinion not that of a fact.
MO is absoluteley amazing and once they fix all the lagging/desync it will be trully epic.
People who want to grind boring quests a la WoW or the like should look else where though, MO requires you to use your imagination instead of spoon feeding you "WIN" buttons
Yes, MO certainly does take a great deal of imagination to be considered an amazing game.
