Damn I can't believe I have to do this again :S , look for an mmorpg again , is there something that's playable out there .
So after getting amped for BOI (I really like good 2.5D mmorpgs) , it finally came , and ....well it sucked x( , the gameplay, the skills, the confusing interface,the dull and uninspiring font and most of all the pointless material things or whatever that drop from every single monster , it all reminds and feels like Perfect World which I really hate , I expected some resembalance because they come from the same company , but seriously, it's like playing a 2.5D PW x( .
So now that that's done I need a new mmorpg , any suggestions??
I would prefer a hack'n'slash mmorpg ,but if there's nothing out there like that ...
I guess I will settle for anything F2P, with great graphics , nice pvp , pve (maybe some raids) , no shooting ,robots or anything like that , nice skills , something where you can feel like your character is hitting the mobs instead of PW where I can see him just swinging that weapon mindlessly , i don't care if it's the mother of all grindfests , I need something simple where i can relax , something that doesn't have way too many things just thrown in the game and is newbie friendly .
If you know / heard of anything that meets the requirements above and is interesting to play please reply .
I previously played :
Cabal Online -loved it, the skills,the gear,the classes... but it just gets boring after a while x(
Conquer Online - also loved it , it actually takes skill to play this game you would be suprised by how addicting this game is although it has almost no raids and is completely pvp based , but the company destroyed and now it's all money based , they even made a special class that's incredibly oped .
Dekaron / PW / BOI - terrible , way too many things just thrown in one game which I really hate .

If you don't mind the population, you'd probably find DAoC enjoyable.
Edit: if neonaka's assumption is correct and you want a F2P, I thought twelve sky wasnt a half bad hacker/pvp F2P game.

since i received an e-mail and felt the game is fair so far i ll suggest this
Karos online!they have an event friday a pvp thing with guild and all(20 + player)
dont know how it works but ill check it out 1300 gmt is the time
make sure to deactivate filter if you dont like the view it can look pretty bad !

Is it a hack n slash game , by this I mean do you actually need to aim and hit instead of click and hit ?
Dark Age of Camelot. And as far as acronyms go, better get used to them, hell you even use them in your original post. Most games are referred to that way. Now, you want f2p that's fun? Try RoM, Allods, DDO, Aika, or Atlantica.
Dungeons and Dragons I heard they allowed you to play for free ,but you can't use a lot of subscription content , is there like a lower level gap for people who don't subscribe , some dungeons you can't play or what ?
Someone pls respond fast cuz it looks fun and if there's no major balance issues between subscription and free users I might give it a shot .
big issue between f2p and subscribers, Cant hit max lvl have to pay so its like 1-4 you get free then pay for 5-8 and so forth till 20. umm something like 15+ or so adventure packs youl have to pay for some cheap some up to 18$ or so and then some other things you have to buy to get up to snuff with subscribers. If you like PVP not so much here mainly a pve with some arenas for pvp. Looks cool and is great fights and balance pve pvp not sure how well it transfers over.
Well that's just great I guess DDO is out of the picture too x(.
I saw a game named Warriors of three Kingdoms it looked like a good hack'n'slash game , any1 played it and can provide feedback ?
Hmm not sure about that one. Check out Aika and Twelve sky 1 or 2 umm alot of f2p realy lack alot unfortunatly and are cash shop based so pvp is going to not be balanced unless you pay for it. Go play torchlight lol theya re going to add multyplayer later hehe.
Ahhh... I don't know if it's me and my high expectations and demands or those games really suck balls x(. They're just so ....asian I mean seriously I saw a footage of aika with those typical and childish asian manga girls and that's something I really hate in a game :S
The only choices for now are either go back to Cabal or Conquer :S or just go play UrbanStreetSoccer until a decent F2P mmorpg comes (damn that's gonna take a while ) . Come on guys can't you recommend a good f2p game ?!
If there are no f2p mmorpgs , are there any GREAT single payment mmorpgs ?
Something like you pay once for the CD and that's it no subscriptions , notice I use the word great because if I'm gonna pay for something I want it to be really ,well, great to play.
Just Guild wars and eyah most the F2P are asian based games with item shops thats thier model not alot of people making none asian style games that are f2p mmorpg.
And torchlight isnt asian lol heheits cartoonish but not asian. also not an mmo
Eve can be f2p if you can make enough isk but that will take ayou a little while to get to that point without it being a job to accomplish and by job i mean farming or mining all day for several days. i cna make my payment in a day or so.

They removed the token requirements for levelling over a month ago. You can level to 20 without paying a dime. There isn't much PvP though, and you can save up the free points you get for an adventure pack here and there, but there is still quite a bit to do without buying anything.
I thought they were planing on shutting down the game ?
It says something about it being released again but there's no date or anything , I don't wanna get hyped for a game that's planned to be shut down :S
It's not being shut down, it's being re-developed. The news is on the front page.
Just buy a PS2 and a couple $20 RPGs and hunker down for the the next 8 months or so. Regretfully, that's what I am doing (though I still keep a watchful eye open).

Well just so I don't leave this with no closure I chose SUN as my next mmorpg ,so if u can help in-game gimme a pm x), I hope I chose the right game x)
ddo is a fun game and it is hack'n'slash. They removed sigils from the game so you aren't capped when you are leveling. once you get up to level 12 (out of 20) the free content starts to get sparce. Pvp in ddo is pretty non existant as you can only fight inside the taverns in the arenas and theres no balance to the classes at all. What is cool about the game though, is that characters can be vastly different. Each time you level up, you can pick a different class (a total of 3 classes on a single character) and theres alot of variety as far as how or what you want your character to do. I'd suggest trying it and if you like it, play til you start running out of content, then sub for VIP and get access to the whole game. I don't play it anymore because of the lack of pvp but besides that, it was really great in every other way.
Is DDO available in the EU ?(I mean the free one )
