nothing new, they've been doing it for a while, claiming they are killing "macro-miners"only but they're killing everything they see.

Can't expect more from the 'Kugu-squad', known for their hacking past.  :)

Exploiters like this should totally loose everything on their accounts except their levels and skills, ships isk, ect. and be forced to start over without buying ISK, or be banend for buying ISk. This is totally unacceptable exploting. Another reason I will not play eve besides I dont like the skills system.

The exploits in eve are nothing compared to the exploits available in most MMO's and to their credit CCP are very quick to plug exploits.   I certainly wouldnt make a buying decision based on exploitation, lol.

But this is new, because not just they using this exploit.
I saw when other Russian corps/allies (Brotherhood of Starbridge or White Noise.) used this hack/exploit.
When 1 user using an exloit smaller problem than, when a full alliance which have over 1000+ members.

You shouldnt be seen in local unless you speak anyway.

They need to make all chats like wormhole chats.

Change the way local works and to balance this buff directional scanners.

if half of the ppl posting on that mega thread have the same attitude against macroers and bots eve should be a better place

the same ppl that  jump on the bandwagon now are the same that set blue macroer corps in 0.0 and take ISk for them in order to found their l33t pvp fleets

    Eve rocks!

And there is no such thing as perfection. Show me a perfect system in existance, I challenge you.

CCP will get to it if it's an exploit.

I agree that local should be changed, but that doesn't alter the fact these guys appear to be breaking and exploiting the rules as they stand. I think therefore some action does need to be taken.

Oh, Goons do it a lot as well, learned from their brosefs I guess.

They failed to do cov cynos after Delve residents found out how their gangs were formed and they started doing this with dictors+bombers shortly after that.

local clr, BS fleet gets a alignment to outgate, dictor uncloaks, drops drag bubble, BS fleet warps, lands in bubble and a large gang for Goon bombers uncloak and unleashes bombs.

Seen it, was sitting on one of those gates to report status when they uncloaked and did their stuff, with no neutrals or reds in local.

    Figure that.

Not saying others are saints etc, but with Kugu as hacker with his past (+bans) you always know what you get.

Just check in Eve the macro haulers and miners with Roidripper or NPC Hunter. Do you thinking about just Aion and other MMO have bots and EVE not ?
    Chinese farmers, ISK Sellers etc.

Ex BoB was the bigest cheater and exploit user in eve, i can show you video when the IT alliance members shot inside POS forcefield etc.

you should educate yourself on the difference between an exploit and 'botting'  the two are wildly different.  Indeed if you want to talk about CCP efforts on botting compared to NCSOFT, you will find that NCSOFT refer to CCP's methods, not the other way around ;)

While I wouldn't put it past PL to exploit in what they decided was a "good cause", I woud be amazed if this wasn't also a complex troll. Since that's basically what they do. In this case, they've smoked out a large part of the macroing community in to the open, more or less admitting what they do on CCP's own forums.

I would be very careful about making judgements on what methods Monkeysphere is using, especially since he has not been banned, until we see some actual evidence. Forum rage does not equal evidence.

Difference is that CCP actually are doing stuff to reduce botting and isk scam.

ofc Bob are the evil guys.

Bob/IT players are just normal players that like to PVP.

And yes some ppl have exploited. Like every alliance had such players, KIA leadership doing RMT to pay bills, remember all those NC posmanagers getting banned for those YEARS!!!!!!!! long exploiting of the moon towers?

Goons doing exploits by making all those bookmarks to crash out the system?

and this is no new news, and oc the PL damage control now has been pathetic, since the announcement those ppl have not made a kill like that anymor,e afraid of being cauht by CCP and getting hit with the ban bat.

You mean, like, none of them, because they didn't, but some dipshits like to spread rumours?

    Put up or shut up.

But while we're at spreading unbased rumours, I was scouting bob pos in delve shortly before the exploit was public, and saw a lot of large reaction towers without any extractors in the system. Their number suggested a much higher processing power than required for querious and delve combined. Surely there was something fishy going on.

ofc, CCP made lies about it, even their offical announcement of those enquiries into that pos exploit was absolutely false.

    lies I say!

Thanks for making it so damn easy to make fun of you. It's pretty obvious that you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

If there's one type of person i absolutely detest, it's people who babble about things they know nothing about. It's the way idiotic rumors are started with no basis on reality whatsoever, as can be seen in the recent case of monkey, during the days of the posploit, unholy rage and even further back to the t20 incident.

CCP never disclosed who they banned. The only people confirmed to have been involved in the exploit were Evoke and relax due to leaked threads from their forum. Everything else was alt posters pointing fingers at anyone they didn't like, and gullible people like you repeating it over and over again.

It would be funny how incredibly clueless most posters in these kinds of threads are if it weren't so sad how gullible most people are..

  • MalcanisMalcanis Member UncommonPosts: 3,297

Allow me to repeat: forum rage does not equal proof. The unsubstantiated accusations of a bunch of admitted russian macrobotters count for zero in my eyes. Multiplying the number of accusations they make by a thousand raises that weight to 1000 x 0.

I'm not saying Monkeysphere didn't exploit. I'm just saying that we have not seen any actual evidence as yet.

Well, personally if Monkeysphere has been taking out botters etc, then i dont really have a problem with  it, personally, i would prefer that 0.0 was more like wormhole space as regards to local, though it would work both ways, as not only would the one ratting have to keep an eye on the directional scans etc, but also, the hunters would have to scan people down, more use out of probes imo, can't be a bad thing :D

Oh come on! BoB was bad, but never anything as bad as the Goonies. They have their sticky fingers in just about every dirty trick, exploit and scam in the galaxy.  The first and third are only to be expected, but the second should not be tolerated.
