description - knights taught to fight without weapons, (exept in rare occasions), their tendency may vary from lawfull good to lawfull evil, but once they murder an innocent their lose all their titles and power till they redeem themselves, never attacking from behind/or fallen/ retreating foes , receiving penalties from that.
now: GW2 (11 80s). Dark Souls 2. future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord. "Bro, do your even fractal?" Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
My class would be a combination of druid and hunter/ranger. Not sure of the name - randru?
Leather armour, can equip bows or daggers, swords (dual wield). Able to tame animals for combat pets, and can shapeshift to fight alongside the pet in melee.
Can heal and buff self and others (slightly) and use root as well as trap, depending on talents. Again, depending on talents, can apply various druid type spells to ranged bow attack.
One "without action", as he is in equilibrium he becomes one , he doesn't act he does what is the natural thing to do
and as such becomes part of the background scene, walking the world unoticed.
In Equilibrium:
-may walk anywhere, including instances, doesn't take any aggro
-while in equilibruim he wil dodge most attack attempts made from players (monster won't attack anyway) he does no damage though
-he has no mount but in equilibruim he travels on equal speed.
Out of Equilibrium:
-if he starts an attack he leaves equilibruim and as such becomes very vulnerable. He might attain Equilibrium by refraining from any further actions for a long time. Out of Equilibrium monster enganging normaly slow down the process
not like the lame shapeshifter in dragon age, no a full blown shape shifter than has no abilities in its real shape(human I suppose), if it wants to run real fast it would be like a rabbit or something lol, or lion if its for attacks or leopard for high dexterity and evasive abilities or monkey to jumb high
that game would be real optimized if it has a jungle enviroment
They cripple the bird's wing, and then condemn it for not flying as fast as they.Malcolm X
Armor: Leather / Light armor. High agility to help on avoiding damage.
Shield: No shield.
Weapon: Bow: With some bow attaks, only single target. And a little of crowd control too. Melee: Knife or short sword, with almost no abilities: 1 root to run out of melee range and say, 1 more melee damage attack,.
Healing: No magic healing, it will be a healing based on nature and science knowledge, medic style: Bandages, potions (no common healing potions but potent ones exclusives for this class), reactives and stuff like that, it will have a wide range of healing abilities: single target and group ones. It will be able to cure poisons, noxius, arcane and bleeding debuff.
Buff: It may have some buffs for max health, or health regeneration. Some mana regeneration too.
a VERY fragile kind of sorcerer-like character who can hardly take a few hits without dieing but who's able to take control of opponents using his mental/psyonic abilities or as a secondary option inflict some (low) telepatic damage or stun skills instead.
of course no shiny armor for this character, you could dress him as dark type mage because he's sort of that but the abilities have to be used even more tactical in most cases because this character really is a glass one and of course the abilities should work with a relative small range or only when opponents are in line of sight.
most developers seem to dismiss this option, maybe because it might be technically difficult to incorporate such abilities in a skill tree or because they fear such potentially enormous power for their game balances or maybe they rarely thought about this option but i always liked this kind of character in the dos game Darksun and they actually managed to find a balance there.
anyway this type of character could give all those mage & healer lovers out there new options instead of the standard ones
Uses shouts to buff his team. Uses cries, called Qqromancy, to debuff (AKA nerf) opponent skills. Also has flame based attacks.
Class is limited to characters of the Troll race.

Armor: None. Cannot wear anything except for cosmetic items.
Weapons: None. Cannot wield weapons.
Abilities: Cannot be killed, only silenced. Support class only. Can cast slight buffs and debuffs on teammates and enemies in an attempt to turn the tiles of combat. Only useful in groups. Cannot rez dead players. Very difficult class to master, but can be a serious benefit to groups if done well.

Wow, some really creative ideas here!

Well, it's not my idea, but the best class idea I've ever heard is the Gnome Druid.
Basically, it's a regular WoW druid as a gnome, with bear/cat/seal/Cheetah mechs and technology based moonfire.
just a reskin, really, but pretty rad.
Hermit
Armor: Cloth/Robes
Weapons: All forms of staves, a "satchel" filled with different herbs and potions for abilities
Abilities: Single target buffs/debuffs, Heal over time, and minor CC... by use of potions
Minor staff melee skills for some dps output
I like healing and bows, so here goes my bet:
