Is there any problem that I have an issue with the mmorpg.com site not ruling over the posters with an iron fist? Freedom of speech? Do you gasp this concept?

And to answer to your question I have an issue with the way the forum is moderated. Do you agree that posts like this: "Mourning is a scam - if you preorder you will loose your money", "there is no game behind the site", "there are 10 testers that do not test and do not buy the game" (then why test it?), "mourning developers are nazi", "mourning developers hate mmorpg.com", "mourning developers stole my friend's money - I have seen it with my own eyes" should be present on this forum even if I ask as a representant of the company that owns the product to be removed?

I do not agree. Unfortunately the forums are down and I have no back-up of them but almost all the posts wre a flame war where you (I strongly belive that you are a DnL developer) and a few others are bashing 'Mourning' making false statements. It is low to attack another game just to bring a few more users to your game.

Now if I agreed that I have an issue with that you will do what? Attack me that I am unprofessional or what ? I do not have the right to have issues with the things as a person or as a company do not like?

Second, there were so many scam posts in the Mourning forum here that i don't think the mmorpg.com moderators really did their job properly. If you go to the trouble to have moderators why not police posts amounting to libel??"

Thats exactly right. And thats why it was removed. Because tihs place is run by people who cant moderate their own community. There was "ilegal" stuff being posted here. Yes thats right. Any respectable business men are not going to allow their company name and product to be dragged through the mud by little teenage brats with nothing better to do but make up lies and than have the place where its being posted do NOTHING about it.

If half the people whp post here posted at Gamespot forums or IGN they would be banned a long time ago because those places actually have rules and moderation.

Anyone who thinks that way is a FOOL to begin with. Theres people in the games beta right now and have been for YEARS. They even post screenshots of themselves playing on the forums all the time. Not to mention all the press releases associating them with some well known companies and organizations that I guess were just "made up" right?

Please GROW UP people. This place has been taken over by idiots. THATS what happens when theres no rules. I'am moving back GS and IGN forums. At least there they deal with the pre pubescent outcasts of the internet by removing them.

The only thing you managed to do to yourselves mmorpg.com is show what a crappy community you actually managed to build up here by allowing what you allow.

Your the one over here in the mmorpg.com forums hell bent over Mourning being removed. Up until it was no one could say enough bad and poor comments about this site. Now that it isn't listed here anymore all the Mourning players have a problem. How about you get some consistency?

See Egomancer this is what I mean when I say you are not a professional... you are a Representative to your game, you said it right there in your post... Your best answer is " I think you are from Dark and Light... Stop trying to make my game look bad." As a representative of a company you do not randomly accuse people of things that you have no "proof" of... which you told me that everything you say must be proven...

Please show your proof that anyone here is a DnL dev?

Or have you lied about that to. I have tried to reason with you man to man, you dodge my questions like a shady person would. You as a representative are not acting with any professionalism.

I am trying to be patient with you in only getting a few questions answered but you are being difficult.

Egomancer, the Dark and Light devs are somewhat more professional than anyone from Mourning. Besides that, Dark and Light is vastly more popular than Mourning ever will be - just compare the registered forum users on both sites.

That said, I doubt any DnL dev gives a cent about what happens to Mourning. They have a better game to take care of.

He chucked that in to get me to respond to him because NOW he wants to discuss with me after the fact. Apparently I have been promoted to DnL development staff now, cool, much more exciting then the DB and application work I am doing now.

He still hasn't admitted which is the truth on if they requested to be taken off or if Craig took them off of his own free will has he? I really wish they would get their story straight.

BTW, can you tell me a time that I flamed mourning and wasn't addressing the STAFF? I really regret ever defending Mourning against the scam posts and conspiracy theories like I did now. Egomancer really don't know when to open his mouth and when to refrain from comment and its what has burned them up til now and what will continue too.

Thank you. That was very ignorant of him to state. And rather ludicrous of him to even consider. DnL has zero to worry about from Mourning and less then zero now. I really wish the Mourning forums were still there. I would love to see him try to find a post of me flaming Mourning because I could find quite a few of me defending the game.

I will not get into a flame war where I put Mourning against DnL. One comment though: sometime during last year I posted here on mmorpg.com a message stating that wish will be canceled. Maybe it was blind luck that Wish DID got cancelled a month later but I do not think so. This is the only comment I will make on what you stated here regarding the fact that he is not a developer.

Hey lets not get off topic here but if you really want to bring up the almighty Dark and light.. Ya I remember reading that beta review of DnL by that tester a little while ago. It sounded like a half baked ALPHA no where even remotely near a playable commercially ready game. And if you didnt know, the reason why DnL has all those users registered on their forums is because it automatically registers you to their forums after you sign up for BETA.. nice little trick huh? Doesnt seem so popular any more now does it? Its very easy to collect beta applications for years and auto turn them into registered users to make yourself look more popular.. It doesnt prove how popular you are or will be in the least. Only what you end up actually LAUNCHING will prove that.

The discussion isn't about Mourning, by the way. It's about mmorpg.coms decision to remove Mourning from their site. Is that distinction too subtle?

Regardless, I'm reacting to the news of the removal. And while the inclusion or exclusion of Mourning on this site doesn't matter much to me, the broader issue that mmorpg.com is justifying manipulating the news they present to mmog players does. And their financial relationship with IGE underscores that concern hugely, so it's going to get mentioned.

That is opinion, not fact. There are as many gamers FOR sites like IGE and such as there is against. Don't confuse your personal morality with that of everyone elses. As I said before, you have an agenda, and all this is really about for you is getting heard yet again here about how you don't like the IGE adds. This topic is not about IGE and MMORPG.COM. So once again, I suggest you get focused on the topic and not your personal vendetta.

The fact that IGE blatently breaks the EULA laws of every single game they have listed there and that mmorpg.com obviously doesnt care or supports it is a matter in itself and does not exactly make mmorpg.com look like a class act in any way here.

Do remember that Mythic sued "AND WON" their case in court for this very thing in the past.
