Remember to check back each day since they have super sales that change. The best way to save is to only buy from the daily sales, and wait to buy anything else that interested you near the end of the sale period on July 4th. That way you don't end up buying something that gets discounted even more by a daily sale a few days later.

I'll stay as far away from Steam as possible. Which means NO purchaces from their store, and (if possible) no games using Steam for DMR. Okay, 2 I had for my b-day, and one I can play without having to acutally logon to Steam.

...though I think BioShock 2 is nice for € 14.99

Steam only has to be online once every 30 days. Otherwise, you can just go into offline mode and play even if you don't have an internet connection. Why do some haters just look for stuff to whine about?

Haters gonna hate, I wish steam had every single game available in their store, although I must admit, steam has the worst support service ever.

Steam's support is like flying First Class compared to D2D's traveling via cargo hold, possibly even the landing gear well....

I do love my leg room.

I think I will too.  Hell if I do nothing but create a couple of neat super-hero costumes it's probably worth the 7 dollars.  I can get a value meal for that much.

I might get the Witcher too.  I already own the regular addition but uh... I want the enhanced one.

If you already have the original Witcher, you can go to the official site and download all the new content free. I gotta give CDProjekt props for taking good care of their customers.

Steam sales FTW!!!, Steam always seems to have great prices and when they have sales ....it's just simply awesome.  All my valve game purchases on the PC have been steam purchases and I couldn't be happier.

Ghost Master is $0.95.  Theres a whole shitload of very good games for $5 or less and even more for $10 or less.  Its official.  Steam owns my wallet.

Global Agenda was on sale the first day, I'm afraid you missed out on the lower 1-day price.  Eve is on sale today for $1.99 though.

Thank you. $1.99, can't beat that. Purchased.

When they bring GA lower, I'll probably buy it. $26 is nice and all, but I just don't know if I can bring myself to do it. They need to add a bit more to it. I hear an expac or something is coming out shortly, I'll wait until then I think. I like the game so far, feels like TF2 meets Halo, but the missions seem very short & I just keep doing the same damn thing over and over again... It's a lobby game, zero exploration and not enough depth quite yet. Would definitely not classify it as an MMO, really.

Edit: Unless of course I'm missing something. I'd love for someone to tell me its deeper than what I'm seeing at level 11 or 12.

Damn...I though I was followinf the sale since day one. Now I dont know whether to buy, which I want to do, or wait for the last day. The last day of the Christmas sale brought back the biggest sellers from previous days, but I dont think GA sold that well.

Open world zones are on test right now with normal MMO quests.

It's a MMOFPSRPG.  So, yes, maps are a bit repetitive.  That's how shooters are, same maps, but everytime you play it, it's different because of the people.

And I think as you get higher in level, get more items/skills, the pvp becomes a helleva lot more fun to do.

I might have to get that THQ pack, hell just two games basically cover the entire cost of the pack!

Just Cause on sale today...<.< Mehbe?

Can't wait to see what's on their tommorrow.  It seems as the sale got closer to ending, the games they put up have gotten...newer and better?

Right, I understand how shooters work and I've played plenty of them over the years. However, the fact of the matter is these theyre classifying it as an MMO, MMO's generally have some deeper content to them than an FPS, these "missions" have you going with 4 people, doing the same thing over and over, with no change in anything. You say how it's different because of the people, but I haven't found that to be true. It's like WoW, just doing the same raids over and over again. It gets old.

So I'm waiting for them to bring the price lower, I'll buy it then. It was fun, but not fun enough for me to warrant a price of nearly $30. They say they'll be adding to it, more MMO-like qualities, and if thats the case they could definitely have a real winner on their hands. Until then, I'll wait and see. :)

I must be the only person who has never played a Call of Duty game, so it was awfully nice of the folks at Steam to put together a bundle deal just for me. :)

Picked up the CoD bundle, the GTA 4 expansions, Red Faction Guerrilla, and Thief Deadly Shadows.  I was eyeing Prototype, ME2, and Bioshock 2 as well, but geez, my backlog is already huge.  I'll put those off until the Steam Christmas sale.
