My main concern for this game is mind-numbing grind. Will it be a typical Korean grind covered by nice graphics and flashy animations? Is there depth to the game, or will I be expected to kill 9000 sparkle dragons to have any sense of progression?

The real question is - will the new combat system be fun and addictive enough so that you don't mind killing 9,000 sparkle dragons?

My biggest worry about this games combat mechanics is will it devolve into; Strafe strafe strafe ect.. rince and repeat.  For both PvE and PvP.

Any class that won't have to strut around in new loot, that is what new MMOs need a true monk style class again.

But Tera looks like it might be really fun, can't wait to get to poke and prod it a bit.

Tera looks awesome but the combat mechanics look really sketchy.  Doesnt look smooth like it flows together.  I have this evidence from youtube videos i have seen so I dont know if there working on it or not.

I have tested it first hand and it's smooth like a baby bottom.

The only thing that bothers me is that european players are screwed with Frogster as publisher :(

A guy I know who played Champions recons they had ‘movement with combat’ but he was not impressed. Anyone know if it really is the same as Champions?

There is a differece in standard MMO combat that allows moving around and action based combat. Though I believe you either like it or don't but IMO I like TERA combat and I think other sit and click MMOs are now boring.

I'm pretty excited  too but until now all we have seen is combat.I'm hoping that Enmass Entertainment show us more and most and for all I wish it's not a grindfest like Aion.We were promised a lot before Aion launched but reality check at level 30 was another story.
