I wonder if I can just create a US account as a European? Obviously I would have to buy the US version of the game. Would be the easy solution if you suggest that Frogster should be avoided.
Never heard of Frogster before, but i allrdy hate them just by reading this thread, lol.
I was really looking forward to TERA But seems like its going to fail now cause of frogster. Could just play on the US server if lagg isnt to bad, but prolly wont get a decent ping from norway ><
Oh well, atleast we still got GW2...

There are the usual pile of 'they are only doing this for money idiots complaining.
BOTTOM LINE: If a business is not profitable it is soon out of business. Do any of the QQers work for free? I sure don't!
Well, take WoW for example, they profit like hell just from the subs, but every month they seem to be adding more and more shit to sell and stuff to make money off, even tough they are making MANY millions a month just by subs.
There is a diffrence between making money and being greedy.

Thats simply the nature of the market. Look at the My Little Pony mount in WoW for example. They made a LOT of money from that, so obviously the demand is there. I see nothing wrong with that. But I'd be fascinated to know what this "greedy" is that you make reference to above. What is this difference?
As for Frogster in Europe, I wish Tera there all the best, but from past history it doesn't look good.
It always amazes me that Europe has such a great internet backbone with way faster connection speeds than North America, but when it comes to actually putting content online to USE all that speed, there's no one that's any good at it.
Every European distribution company I've heard of in the last 12 years is horrible.
I just LMAO with this statement, because it's completely true! Almost all games that launch in NA (in some cases, 1 year after launching in Korea or any other asian country), only start in Europe 1-2 years after launching in NA.
IMHO the companies just think this way: "We have to wait and see if its succesfull in NA and let they do all the hard work. If the game in NA has a big EU community after 1 year we just need to Copy-Past most of it."

I'm gonna stay posetive. TERA looks like a great game, and it'll take a fair amount to screw it up.
