it looks good, but it's nothing amazing. i prefer average graphics because i like to be able to play them on my PC without having to stpend $1000 upgrading it.
Looks nice. But I don't like cash shop games, so this one drops off the radar for me.
Might be fun for those that like cash shops.
Again, I believe it will be retail with no cash shop but a B2P plan. Think guild wars.
you can keep saying it and your welcome to your opinion but until it's officially stated for our region the opinion tha tit is gonna be a cash shop game is equally as valid.

Isnt Lineage owned By NCsoft? which owns GuildWars.
So yes, B2P is very possible, and i hope to god it will come true
ArenaNet (the people who made Guild Wars) is a subsidary of NCSoft and a Western based company - they were the primary influences on the pricing model, not NCSoft. I don't know the details of Archeage, but I don't think it's being published by NCSoft.
Whose the "Father of Lineage" anyway? Most of the people who worked on Lineage and Lineage II are either on the Aion team or the Blade and Soul team... or so I thought.
This game looks incredible and also sounds very intriguing. I spent some time over at their site reading and looking at the pictures and videos. Very impressive. I can't wait to see this game release.
These are my favorite kind of graphics in a game, the game doesn't even look like most Asian games where the graphics and structures are heavily themed. But an eastern game is still an eastern game, even if it finds a publisher it won't have any greater success then Aion had. The number of western gamers that enjoy Korean themed games like this are a minority, and always will be. A majority of western gamers only play western games for many obvious reasons.
Nevertheless, this game falls on my radar. Beats TERA.
The graphic quality is good, but the art style it isn't doing much for me. I like rich flater colors but this game kind of overdoes the bright colorfull color pallet.
All men think they're fascinating. In my case, it's justified
I dont see why the graphics are so impressive. Theyre good. But not that good. AoC looks way better IMO, too bad the game isnt. TERA is also looking better than this game.
Good find though, ill keep an eye on it. Although until they promise consensual PvP and quest oriented leveling its just "Korean Grind and Punishment MMO #213."

I am hoping for full open world pvp where anybody can attack anybody but a system that makes it so people dont just go around ganking. Please do not make the game quest based leveling. Going talk to a NPC to be told go kill 10 goblins should never be put in a mmo. MMOs need new and unique ways for character progression.
So where do you guys even get the idea it either use cash shop, or B2P.
It's stated earlier in the thread that the subscription price is...free.
And since they don't actually make games for "free" that means cash shop or B2P.
I don't mind B2P, but won't look twice at a cash shop game.
With all the ? marks and "if" statement, I dont' think anyone know.
Pretty much all the games from Korea is f2p. The exception is games from NCsoft, which made lineage and Aion and GW.
B2P is very unlikely, there are a few hundreds korean MMO, and there's only 1 that can be named that's B2P. It's hard to say if it's f2p or subscription base.
I'm very disappionted when they say the game world is larger than WoW. It's like telling me it won't be huge. But with 25m budget, and that kind of graphic it's not likely to make a game world that big, it'll take too much resource.

Just what the genre needs, another dead game.
-Letting Derek Smart work on your game is like letting Osama bin Laden work in the White House. Something will burn.- -And on the 8th day, man created God.-

Yea like EvE and Darkfall!!!!
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981

EVE is like WoW, the exception to the rule.

Die hard RPers will love this (and the housing) but not as much as the new and future mmo crowd. Just like any other game, age is a factor if you want a succesful game.
The game graphics looked too refined to be appreciated by the majority of the 10-30 age bracket. Waiting for stuff to grow? Umm no. People hate slow paced leveling/grinding and I bet you they will hate watching a house get built from foundation to roof.
The combat was uninteresting. When I sat in one of my friend's manga/anime workshops, they emphasized on the power of the point of impact in illustration combat scenes. I don't see any of that power here.
Some people prefer more 'realistic' than over the top impossible (yep2x) stuff but not me. I love the flare in video games. They add color and they add a bit more realism in a sense IMHO
best graphics till date so far is still hands down... Asherons Call 2.... sorry guys you havent seen anything till you see the 3rd disk installation and maxed graphics of this game. Nobody still even comes close to it. Grass that blows in the wind. Shorelines that show it hitting the sand for example(shoreline effects).. it shows splashes as you move thru it. reflection and all the other stuff. This game was made in 2002 and still tops all the games currently out. It was way ahead of its time.

I must admit, the graphics were awesome. Until I saw it coming from korea....
Lets just hope its gameplay wont be like Lineage 2.

Suuuuper impressive looking!! I'm with everyone else though... concerned about the grinding aspects.
Someday we'll all look back on the age of computers - and lol.

Very unlikely. This is a korean game and korean mmorpgs are rarely B2P like Guild Wars is.

looks like just another AION to me, or like that hot chick, once you scratch the surface you find it wasnt worth it.
