MMORPG.com's Bill Murphy is at it again with this week's The List column. This time, Bill talks about five games he feels we all want to know more about. Did your favorite game make the cut? Find out by reading The List.
These lesser talked about games may be pushing out plenty of information (or in some cases maybe not), but due to any number of reasons it seems as though you rarely hear much about them… and we wish that wasn’t the case. Though assuredly many of the following titles are just quiet because there’s not a lot set in stone yet, that doesn’t mean we can’t wonder what’s to come. In the interest of giving the little guys more of a spotlight, here’s a list of games we wish we knew more about and why.
Read The List of 5 Games We Want to Know More About then talk about it on our forums.

So call them up and get more information. You work for a MMO news company. Do some investigating.
UM....might want to change the title to "5 games I want to know more about"
"One word, Thundercougarfalconbird."
I agree with Tsnow. As I can care less about numbers 3 and 2. They could be replaced, for me at least, with The Secret World and World of Darkness.
Actually I would like to know if World of Darkness and Outland are even still in development. At least 3 of the games on your list we know something about. These 2? Nada.
As for the games I know ARE in development, but I want more info on, The Secret World is at the top of the list. I have wanted a horror MMO for years, so I'm crossing my fingers for this one and trying to overlook Funcom's MMO history.
lmao I thought exactly the same thing. Couldnt give a flying damn about any of the games in that list tbh.
Only MMO registering with me right now is Rift: Planes of Telara. EQ2 is more then good enough until then
Actualy i want to know more about Black Prophecy not about jump gate evo...
i also wanna know who (IF) gonna bring C9 to the west =x
now: GW2 (11 80s).
Dark Souls 2.
future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord.
"Bro, do your even fractal?"
Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
made me chuckle
World Of Darkness should have been in there, and in the top 2. Arguably that is the game that the developers are beeing the most tight liped about. As of this moment we really do not know that much about it. Less so than anything mentioned in this list.
Yeah I dont care to learn anything about those games.
TERA, Secret World, World of Darkness? Only one worth my time reading about on that list is W40K.
I want to know more about:
Archage
Blizzard's Unannounced MMO
Richard Garriotts next "Lord British" game - He hinted in a recent interview that it may be in "UO's niche". Woot!
World of Darkness Online is very much missing from this list. I'm personally far, far, far more interested in news on that than any of the games listed above (least of all anything Warhammer related)
-=Star Wars Galaxies: Sunrunner=-
Roleplayer
-=World of Warcraft: Shadow Council=-
Yep... As others have said, personally "I" would like to know more about The Secret World and World of Darkness.
I gotta admit I never thought I would be but I'm a bit weary of the generic fantasy model of MMO's these days. I would love a Fallout or a quality post apocalyptic MMO.
only games on the radar I care about at all right now are 40k, World of Darkness and Secret World, and not exactly in that order.
The only one that I know anything about is the warhammer, the rest who knows. Im not into a zombie mmo, i play left 4 dead now and then and thats enough zombies for me.
Jumpgate evolution from what I've seen has gone PvP centric, which as far as I'm concerned takes it off my list of future games. Its too bad, as the original concepts looked quite enjoyable. I hope they enjoy their status as a niche game, which is what PvP centric games tend to be in the western markets.
I'd be VERY interested in learning more about Blizzards plan for their next MMO. But as it stands, it seems that very few people have that information.
World of Darkness (CCP) (also known as Vampires in SPAAAACE!! ^^) sounds like fun, but very little is known about it. Given CCP's background it may be PvP centric. Only time will tell.
Dust 514 looks like its going to be fun, but how it will integrate with EVE remains to be seen.
Super interested in Jumpgate Evolution, looks like a good mix of PvP and PvE with a strong FvFvF focus for endgame.
I'm surprised The Secret World and Earthrise didn't make it on your list.
5) Definatly interested
4) Don't care
3) Don't care
2) Don't care
Nope sorry. Your number 1 choice is completly wrong. Even though we only have one short teaser trailer and a few paragraphs on a web site to go by, the experts on the MMORPG.com forums have already concluded that Warhammer 40000 Dark Millennium will be made of fail.
I hear some of them even paused long enough to wipe the Cheetos ™ dust off their pudgy fingers before typing out their opinion. You can't argue with hard-nosed investigative journalists such as these.
"Gypsies, tramps, and thieves, we were called by the Admin of the site . . . "
warhammer 40k dark millenium, there was nothing dark or warhammer 40k about that trailer (
World of Darkness should definitely have been on that list, probably at the top.
I agree with Copernicus, but almost nothing else on that list.
Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
agreed good point that
These are the only four I'm interested in
4.Copernicus
3.The secret World
2.WAR40K
1.World of Darkness
In the land of Predators, the lion does not fear the jackals...
I was hoping to see World of Darkness on this list and I'm glad most of the other respondents agree with that. What a huge oversight.
+1. And LOL!
Damn you guys are quick to condemn. I might not care about all the games on the list, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna attack the columnist.
Did you ever think that the author may have talked it over with his co-workers, friends, family, etc. and come up with this list? In that case, his use of the term "we" is perfectly legitimate.
Think of it this way: How could any writer ever write an article called "5 Games You Want To Know More About" and please everyone? Simple answer - he can't.
You guys need to get over yourselves and grow up.
