~anyway, like one of the other posters said, Mortal Online is probably a good choice because the guilds tend to be tight, if not just cliquish. You'd probably have a blast regardless of current issues if you joined the right group.
Otherwise I guess I can suggest Wurm Online, but that takes a special kind of player to fall in love with it. There is a PvP server where three kingdoms battle each other, and guilds are basically in the form of villages that have politics between each other, and raid their enemies to rob them of items and town upkeep. It can become like a second job after a while, but the 2 years I spent playing it are some of my best gaming moments ever. I haven't spent that much time with a single game since my first ones (UO and SWG), There is a free trial server worth checking out, but no PvP beyond verbal harrassment unless you pay for a sub (5e a month) and go to the Wild server, where the open PvP is.
