    Because it contains nudity and graphic sexual content. Although you are considered an "adult" in most states at 18, you still have to be 21 to buy porn. image

    Don't judge a game without trying it. If we all judged games based on screenshots and interviews, well, EQ2 would be the best MMO ever :P Or better yet, WoW would be the best because of all the supposed content that was to be included at launch. My point is yes, the graphics are dated. Yes, the content is questionable, but from the review I read of it in SYNC Magazine, the gameplay is solid, if not a bit perverted. If you don't like this sort of thing (I don't), fine. Don't sit here and bitch moan and complain about it being perverted and such. I bet a good chunk of you are church goers, or at least were when you were kids, and I bet you have premarital sex too. "Yes, that's a big no no, but it's ok because it's not porn, and I repent every week," is what I bet you say to yourself. If it's not your cup of tea, don't knock it before you try it, and leave threads like this open for DISCUSSION about what it's like, rather than what you envision it to be based on SS and reviews.

    I wonder the same thing. I mean, it dosen't look grahpic enough to be geared towards 21+. It dosen't even look anywere near an OA rated game.

    doesnt look too hot, especially the graphics. a lot of the game seems to be a bit shallow, id rather spend my hard earned cash on something a bit better lol

    Horrible, horrible...These graphics look like somthing a little kid drew. A lot of losers will jump on this game looking for somone to cyber image. I also heard before like 70% percent of people who played D&D or some game made only female chars thats how lame people are lol.

    The whole point of this game is to allow sexual freedom and expression. Yes, the graphics are dated (after all, they're using the UO engine), however, there's quite a lot to do. Not to mention since the graphics aren't the best, they force more RP, which is what the game is about. Also, there's only a 1 time fee of $10, to register your software, so it's not exactly breaking the bank. For $10, if this is your kind of thing, or hell, you are just curious, it's not that bad a deal. I bet most of you have spent more on a box of condoms than this software is, and the sex is safer :P

    Well, I knew we would see something like this sooner or later. I just expected it to be done better.

    While it looks pretty pathetic to me, it isn't my place to tell someone else what kind of  "game" they can play.  I'm tempted to start a pool on how long it lasts before closing for lack of players, though you never know; look at the sales on the recent Playboy Mansion game. Maybe it'll do well. /shrug

    Meanwhile, I'll be in other virtual worlds or getting my sexxor on in RL...

    Videogame, anime or any other cartoon porn is for losers. I look at porn casually, but they are REAL people. And the only people that do look at any animated porn needs to get a life. What the hell is wrong with these people?
    Anyone that plays this game: Get laid. Seriously.
    As for social degeneration, I'd have to agree. People who play this game are starving for things that this game has: wierd $#1+. It has no effect on the real world.
    Also, Neocron wasnt focused on this kind of thing either. It was an added feature.
    And if I was into animated porn, this would be my review of the game: the avatars are ugly, the boobs are saggy and probably 90% of the female population on this sick game is men. Of course, I'll never play this cake of rat urine because Im only 15. Thank god.

    Sex is sex. Stop trying to make it sound dirty, everbody does it in some form. How is this proof of moral degeneration? Games have always been about being able to experience things that you couldn't do in real life, how is this any different to killing people in a MMO?

    This type of thing seems akin to cyber sex.

    Talk about double standards, you all whine that all MMOs are the same, someone makes something completly different and you start whining.

    EDIT: I just wanted to say i have no interest in the game, but i'm still going to defend it as not doing so means restricting peoples creative freedom. This is really part of a bigger problem which is happening in the games industry.

    You can show someones brains being splatted against a wall but showing boobs? WELL THATS JUST GOING TOO FAR!

    I also think that there are people on here who have problems of their own. Seeming as most of you are underage you all seem to think that looking at porn is for "losers". Some day i hope you grow up.

    Some may have heard of Sociolotron, some may not. It is the "adult" mmorpg. Be warned, it is graphic as it contains nudity. Interesting "jobs" are part of the game such as prostitution and politics (lmao, notice how those two go together).

       Adult is not 100% defined by nudity and sex. That's just 1 definition of adult.

    For example, EvE Online is an Adult MMORPG. It's super-complex, and requires the kind of patience that comes with maturity, in order to get things done.

      I can see how it could be good enough for a laugh. But IMHO it's already been 99.98% done before. Female Wood Elves in EQ. Female characters in AO able to wear the skimpiest thongs along with emotes put in the game especially for those who like to ....*ahem* use those certain emotes.

    Even SWG has "flesh". But at least SWG showed some creativity in designing myrids of types of see through female clothing, mini-skirts that are too short, and shirts and coats that show all clevage and more. image

    Edit: BTW, I have mentioned this before as it was in beta, but I believe it has gone gold.


     From what I read on their site just now, they haven't released the game yet. How can it "go gold" if people are playing for free? LOL!
    I remember glancing over this game months ago, when someone else posted about it.

    If one enjoys flirting with other grown men pretending to be women, instead of turning off the computer and going outside, and meeting real, live,  women.... then hey, if that's your cup of tea!

    If one gets their jollies from looking at semi-nude to fully nude computer pixels, instead of real, live, women..... then hey... if that's your cup of tea!

     As for the nudity, or "nudity" it's 99.98% the same as what is in EQ, EQ2, AO, and SWG LOL! Nothing special.

     In fact this game is basically worse than all other MMORPGs. The screenshots are a missrepresentation of the acutal ingame graphics LOL!

     The only thing IMHO that is signifigant about this game, is whoever made it is seeing how much $$$ they can make off of males who enjoy flirting with other makes pretending to be females. And males who get their jollies off of computer pixels. Kind of like that Aerosmith video showing the guy calling one of those phone sex chat lines, imagining he's talking to a 50DD blonde who has nothing to do but sit around all day long just to talk to him LOL! Aerosmith at the end of the song shows who's really on the other end! imageimageimage

    I'm the project manager for an Adult MMORPG called Underworld MMO. http://underworld.wecometoplay.com

    I hope that my game will be the first real commercial quality adult-themed MMO. We are working hard to get it out for May 2006 in beta and retail well before Summer (2006 with investment, 2007 If we continue self-funded).

    Check it out and let me know what you think so far. I will be updating the website monthly to let the public know that the status and quality are staying at the levels they should during development.

    While our content will not be quite as graphic as with Sociolotron, Our graphics should be much much better. Ironically, we are also using some Poser Based Models as well (different models , however) but in a totally different way.

    I would babble more, but you will find out more about the game by visiting the website itself. Your input as fellow gamers is very much appreciated. Tell me what you like or don't like about the design so far, what you like and don't like about the website.

    There is an email button on teh top right corner of the site. Please use it. We begin 3d content and programming production in less than 4 weeks. If there are fundamental things the fans want changed about the site or the game design so far, I would like to know them before we start primary production begins.

    technically, you CAN play Sociolotron right now. It is totally playable today as far as I know. I haven't tried it, but beyond the graphics,m I have understood it to be a unique and addictive game. (always like to say something postivie about the competition).

    I am happy there is interest in adult MMORPGs. If anyone has any suggestions for what should or shouldn't be in an Adult MMORPG, please let me know as primary production begins in one month. I would rtather know what to do/not do before I pay out hourly rates to my artists and programmers.
