I've shown you proof against pretty much all of that already. The Combat Demo is full of role talk (And I've given other links in another thread). That Demo also shows that there's ONE main boss and a bunch of adds that are a total joke (they don't even hurt the DPS guy much over the fight). Doesn't look that different from WoW, honestly, except perhaps for the fact it is more inspired than the low-level stuff in WoW.
Clearly you need some time to keep track of what they are saying and digest this.
You're hopeless, you only see what you want to see. They talk about trinity roles because people ask about the trinity roles, and like they've said they aren't necessary. You'll never see it for what it truly is until it launches. Meanwhile you can still sit around and pretend the game is a WoW clone. We can revisit this entire conversation 1 month after launch.
Look up my posting history. I spent a LOT of time arguing against this. A LOT of time arguing against TOR being a WoW clone -- heck, I even made a thread in this forum on it.
Stopped paying attention to the game for three or so months and came back. As I've looked over stuff again, see more Dev footage with them constantly talking about the trinity with regards to group combat, stats that are narrowly focused, trees that are narrowly focused, etc....it all made it pretty clear this game uses a Trinity and that I was wrong -- and I only slowly, grudgingly accepted this as true after finding out more information from releases and arguing a LOT on the TOR forums.
That, split pvp/pve gear, and a number of other things really do make TOR quite WoW-like. The main differing feature is story, which I have repeatedly in these posts said is great and something I like.
Anyhow, I'm up for a revisit after launch or even earlier. It is a Trinity game though.

Its as much of trinity game as you want to see it I guess. So agree to disagree.

Clearly we differ from opinion about the dev statements and what we've seen in the footage and what it means, so I should just leave you in your 'trinity with no hybrids' idee fixe.
I have told you how things can be done differently with the combat mechanics as already done in other MMO's and as the combat mechanics have the potential to be in SW:TOR, so I think I'll just leave it at that.
The ease with which predictions are made on these forums: Fratman: "I'm saying Spring 2012 at the earliest [for TOR release]. Anyone still clinging to 2011 is deluding themself at this point."
Cmon everyone stop Speculating that much "it is a trinity game", "it isn't a trinity game"... Just wait for the game to verify every doubt you may have and wouldn't it be better if you did something USEFUL instead of flaming and arguing so much lol?
