True that. Used a wireless mouse/keyboard once and hated it. Wired all the way, it just feels right.
As for the mouse, not bad. But $100 is to much, maybe around $70 would be fair.
Rather silly if you ask me. Most wireless mice last for months these days and indicate low battery well before they die.
Personally I think this mouse is highly overpriced and they did not do a good job on the design either.
The biggest problem for a wireless mouse for me is that you never really are looking at the mouse when your playing. Your looking at your screen. True the blinking light is a dead give away. But the last thing you want when your in a raid or intense battle is your mouse to die on you and have to run into the kitchen or something, find more batteries (assuming you bought some) pop out the old ones, pop in the new ones, wait till it registers and then start playing again.
That takes me around 5 mins, where i'm completely stationary in battle while i'm replacing batteries. If your a healer. that 5 mins means your entire team is dead. Not worth it for the little bit it gives you. Wires provide enough length to not need it. Not mention the upkeep is much cheaper.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
Heard the first wow sucked. This one probably sucks too. Stick to 'Razor', and 'Logitech'. for good mouse, and keyboards. nough said. Oh and saitek's stuff is pretty good too.
I fully agree with this. Loving my Razor Naga the best mouse I've ever had (even for Photoshop, Dreamweaver!). Maybe its because I'm a (16 month) exWowplayer but I just can't find the "Wowlogo" on this mouse, its supposed to be Deathwing - the world destroyer yes? Judging on the pictures from the ordering site I just can't find him.
unlike the Razor Naga this button design doesn't resembe the numpad format and is looking very clunky for me. Only the "V rays" are colored means, you won't see much at night.
99 bucks is way overpriced for a basically standard mouse just because its a "wowmouse". The first one didn't sell too nice, I don't think, the second will ...there are just better mice for lower prices or at least at the same price esp. from Logitech, Razor and Saitek.
We need a MMORPG Cataclysm asap, finish the dark age of MMORPGS now!

True gamers dont use wireless??? whatever man!!! true gamers play with their feet up and keyboard in their lap while eating Dorito's and drinkin Cheerwine!!! U prob still use a roller ball mouse! hehe
I have the original mouse made by SteelSeries for WoW. It's a good mouse, but the interface software that detects it in-game is a bit buggy. All that means is you have to program it outside the game so it's not a big deal. Still, for the price all should be perfect, right?
This one looks like it has a better ergonomic design, as far as button layout, should be a very nice WoW mouse.
Have played: Everquest, Asheron's Call, Horizons, Everquest2, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Warhammer, Age of Conan, Darkfall

$100 for a dodgy looking, colour-pulsing mouse with a WoW logo? Hah! Not bloody likely.
Everyone will whine and mock it. Then half of you will secretly go buy it. -Bahhhh- Sheep!
I like it, but I've never paid more than 50 bucks for a mouse. Now if I were into FPS or E-sports......

why would i pay $99 for a mouse that does the same thing as my $10 mouse? oh ya, because i'm addicted to WoW.

I would advice anyone to test this kind of mouse before buying.
They are much too heavy. It is like playing with a 2 pound weight at your fingertips.
I don't like them.
