But it is still jacked up. I will probably be a bit late.
I was wrong. There is no way I am going to make it tonight. Freaking SOE.
“It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
Sorry you had problems getting in. Let me know if there's a good day this week to catch up and I'll try and join you, as one character or another.
Tonight Epimetheus, Alysembra, Igthus and I finished off the hobgoblin encampment quests and entered the Temple. We're all either level 9 or 10 at this point. We wished for more people, and didn't take things as far as we'd like, but it was a good night.
Most importantly, I had fun.
I am loving the quest mechanics and the depth that the crafting and diplomancy questlines add to the game. It's everything an old EQ player could want. There's not an excess of hand-holding like what is found in other games.
It's not particularly hard at this point, but all four of us did die at some point.
I hope to see you on the other side soon.

I am sorry I couild not get in to. I was kind of pissed last night. I hope my issues are fixed and I can get in tonight or tomorrow. When i do get in I will try to level to to 10 or so and finish up my diplomacy.

It looks like we might get off the island tonight. Any thoughts on where to go? I would like to go somewhere off the beaten path, somewhere that would normally be hard to find a group to do and I couldn't do without this static group. Any ideas?
We had 5 people last night. It went very well, we moved quickly and effeceintly through the dungeon. We are going to decide where to go off the island this week. If anyone has any ideas please post them.
I know it was brought up that we should go to city with a cool mount. Another person stated we should go some place off the beaten path where you can only go as a group.
Post any ideas you have.

I'd totally be interested in joining up with you Guys. I've been wanting to do something like this in ANY game for a long time but my RL friends are a-holes who want me to play like 7days a week and I can't.
Still recruiting?

Yes we are still taking people on. We are all level 10.
We play one day a week.
Tuesday, 8:30 EST. We liked to get started as close to that time as possible.
I am ussually on about 10 minutes early to catch people as they log. If you want to jump in, please do. I bought a box on ebay for 99 cents.
If you can level to 10 or you have a toon already just post the toons name and we will see you on Tuesday.

Well I have a Pally that may be around that level. I'd have to reinstall/sub and see what I've got.
I'm on est but I have class on Tuesdays till 8:10. Takes me about 30 minutes to get home afterwards pending my Gf (who is also in my class) doesn't demand my attention. I'll go ahead and reinstall this evening and see what's going on. I'll post my findings here haha

I think I am done with the diplomacy quest line, however, someone told me that there is a mount reward at the end of it and I did not come across a mount. Can someone give me some information on this. I may have missunderstood too.

I don't think this is an exaustive list though. Does anyone have any place they want to go? It would be good if we all haven't done the quests before, so some of us aren't racing through and the others trying to read the quests. I have done the Vault of Heroes and Khegors End, plus the simple quests around Vaskels (spider cave, etc).
I am having a hard timf finding a mount list. It seems like a lot of sites that used to have info have shut down.

Well I'm gonna try and get all patched up and ready this weekend. I don't know where all my characters are or what servers they were set to, but if anythig I'll try to solo level a guy to where y'all are. You Are around 13-14 by the dungeons you listed is that right?
Edit: any specific roles you guys need filled class wise?

We are all level 10. The group is fluid so play what ever you want. We will be leaving the island next Tuesday so we might be 12-14 by the time you reach us. Depends on how fast you level.

Ok, rolled a lvl 4 Ranger named Kalarok on Telon, and a druid who I just toyed around with who's name is Rangkar. I also have my Pally who is level 17 named Kalaroc

First, thanks for taking the time and patience to put this all together.
I'm interested in joining you folks, 1 day a week will be a great change. I haven't played Vanguard since beta, so I know a lot has changed and was wondering if you'd have room for a Vanguard newbie I played a lot of eq1 back in the day, so I'm up for the supposed challenge of Vanguard, if it's there.
If you do have room, is there any class you need or like? I know you posted a couple back that you don't really need anything, but just in case I can easily catch up as I'm a stay at home dad with my own computer repair business in a very small town, so I have a bit of free time
Well, if you wanna get to around lvl 9 you can do this stupid temple of ascension with me haha. I got to a wall of fire I couldn't get past, and then for some reason some friendly npc's slaughtered me haha

Had the same problem. You have to grab a quest, I fogry from who, and kill mobs until you you apply enough blood to your armor to pass. A note will pop up in the screen when you have the quest and you have killed enough.

We are on the Telon server. Epimetheus is my Shamans name on there. Hope to see you Tuesday!

There is a quick diplomacy quest when you get to the mainland that gives you a horse. I did it recently and it didn't take long.
As far as where we should go next week, I found this list of dungeons. Maybe we can go through these and figure what people want to do:

My guess is that you are probably on Telon with the rest of us. All servers were merged to just two I believe this past summer.
