How many non-interns are left?
EDIT:
Update: The original thread was deleted but there is a new discussion thread found here: http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/55186-so-real.html

Christian was their entire Quality Assurance team (only recently they got a few interns) and largely responsible for the few quality things they implemented with their patches that weren't completely broken.
Guess he complained one too many times.
But when Sebastian leaves its basically game-over, they can't build and release a patch without him and even though he's only got modding background he's the only semi-quality coder they have. And from what I hear, he's not far behind the others.
They should just declare it over and move on to new things.. It was a great idea but it's just not going to happen heh
Dead game is dead...
The interns are just as capable, if not more than anyone else "working" at SV.
I win!!! LOL@U
There is nothing in the link.
Guess what happen to APB is gunna happen to MO now. It has failed for too long to possibly survive anymore. At least AoC kept some subs. MO got nothing, at most I see only like 100 ppl talking about how they love/want this game to succeed.
I wanted to play this yes, but seems too late. They have done too little to save this.
Veritas Vos Liberabit- The truth will set you free.
It really is too bad, StarVault was attempting to try something to break the current MMORPG mold and it unfortunately fell flat. At this point it would take quite a miracle to bring this game back from the hole it has dug for itself and frankly I do not believe it deserves to be saved. StarVault attempted to cash in on Mortal Online far too early, long before it was ready to be released to the public as retail, and to be honest it was of very poor quality. Now might just be the time to scrap this product and maybe take some of the ideas to their next project, and hopefully learn from their mistakes.
As per standard procedure they deleted the thread on the official forum.

So much for being open and honest. Did you get any captures or could you summarize the post?
I win!!! LOL@U
Summary:
Two devs have left StarVault.
They were in charge of QA (Patchnotes) and Sound.
Who's leaving next?
Is the game in trouble?
Whos going to fix all the sound issues since the Epic Patch?
And of course the obligatory post from Tizio saying "All is well!"
That was pretty much the thread... I figured (being bad news) that the thread would disapear, but since it's easy to simply look and see that the guys mentioned are no longer developers.. didn't think the thread was worth capturing. Anyone can click the links to their profiles and see that the have lost "Gold" status.

Is it just me or is this happening a LOT lately? Seems like every week a different MMO is going under. I wonder if it's really as perceived, or if I'm just paying more attention now.
"Forums aren't for intelligent discussion; they're for blow-hards with unwavering opinions."
Ahh no wonder there has been no patchnotes. The writer is gone and they are usually wrong most of the time.
Lets be bloody honest!
The QA guy needed firing for a LONG LONG TIME NOW. Letting all these bugs go through? Quality assurence fail.
Normal MMO's have QA departments. This mod had 1 guy, and that guy did more for MO then the whole dev team together. If it wasn't for him, you have no idea how many dupes would have made it on the live server; bad as it is now it could have been 10 times worse if it wasn't for Christian.
The same guy that claims things are fixed when they're not and lets entire cities go missing from patches?
Yup, the exact same guy who goes to literally scream in the bathroom because he says the patch can't go live because its not ready but Henrik over-rules him and pushes the patch out because "we must release more content".
Yes, because he's writting all the buggy code.
Wow...just wow
I win!!! LOL@U
Real life screenshots or it doesn't happen.
Hey did you know one of the WoW GMs takes a dump before releasing patches? Oh wow.
You think after testing these things like a Q&A guy does you'd realise bugs are not fixed, new bugs are there and entire cities like to disappear?
This implies they were ever in the game.
Yeah, when a QA guy says "patch is not going to be released" the CEO bends over and listens like a sensible person.
EDIT:
Sebastian was actually in-game, I dragged him over to show him how to exploit inside the keep since apparently it "couldn't be reproduced".
LOL...

It could be for the better if they're being replaced by other people

Team members come and go. This is nothing unusual really. Perhaps the only unusual thing is that our dev team is very close to the community so you realize if somebody leaves the team.

I am sure you are very good at your job Maerlyn.
And if I was in your position that would be what I would (hopefully) say no matter the acctual circumstances.
I love this game.
And this really scares me that MO is about to belly up.
(And I believe others are worried too)
Is there anything other than words than can convince me that MO is not about to fold in the near future?
Are you hiring people e.g.?
I noticed you released a patch not so long ago without patchnotes.
That is a good sign.
Please. I need some convincing.
People flee a ship that is sinking and I don't want that to happen.
And if enough people flee the ship *will* sink (whether it is acctually sinking or not).
Too bad
"this is nothing unusual"... Maerlyn kills me
