Heatwave Interactive will be hosting a stress test on the Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising servers on Saturday, November 6th from 2:00-4:00 CST. The team is encouraging all who are interested in the game and those who want to have input into the game to head to the official site to sign up for access.
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising is a full-scale, action-adventure massively multiplayer online game that immerses the audience in Roman mythology. Players step into a hero's sandals to battle monsters and command minions while seeking favor from the gods, testing their mettle in the fight to save Rome. These brave warriors combat an ancient enemy, the Telchine gods, who have returned to topple the empire and avenge their defeat at the hands of the Olympian gods.

i still have the CB install files on my HDD from when Perpetual was running the show and failed. i wonder if the new guys can get this game up and running i was really hyped over it.

Was announced a while ago.
To that end, I've been in the game and it feels a bit better than the first time I was in it during it's original beta.
They've made some nice changes though I don't know how much pull the game will have with players.

This new company really hasn't been talking about it, at all.
They just got on a podcast for tentonhammer live and did an interview.
I was in the original beta testing , i remember the melee combat being quite fun only thing when i tried out the beta beside doing quests there wasnt much else in this game let see what the new company will do with this .
Great gameplay(combat could be a little faster). I am currently a beta tester for this MMO and I must say these guys have a game in their hands that could be huge! This is a fun time period the whole mythology feel is just awesome! Love everything these guys are doing with the game, and they are doing a lot to make it as good as they can make it for release. Look forward to see what else they do during the upcoming betas.
p.s. This is one of the few games keeping me from WoW(been playing WoW since release).

Happy that the game is in new Hands (Heatwave) , was in the CB under Perpetual and now i am in again under Heatwave !
Love that Game, it is different from other MMO's , so far.
The Dev's from Heatwave are doing a very good and carefully job to keep games athmosphere !!

I got the invite and forgot about it until I read this thread...am downloading it now. I have to go out though hope I make it back in time. Will the stress test people get to beta further I wonder.
Oh come on, this is one mediocre game that really should never have been resurrected. No crafting, it had bugs galore when I last tested it(hopefully the new company has removed most of them), but I found the first time I tested this game I found it very lacking in the fun factor.
If this game entertains you, you are missing out on a lot better entertainment value from many other games.
Nice, ill prolly join the stress test, i really love the setting of this game, but dont know much about it besides that. Hopefully we can get a feel of the game from this stress test, even tough im sure its very limited what you can do, its only a stress test afterall.
Keeping an eye on this game, maybe ill play it until GW2 comes out. its between this and DCUO. Hopefully they will sell the game on steam tough. I hate buying games outside of steam.

Double edit: When i try to sign up for "closed beta" it says "Please enter a valid date." even when it is valid lol.. ><

well I cant enter a birthdate keeps saying invalid date no matter what I enter ...so if that happens to a lot of people no one will be stress testing

Why not? not like if the game was on steam your FORCED to buy it there.. i say "ugh, i sure hope not" too box sales. alot of people use steam (30 million accounts) so its a great marketing channel for the game, and if they put it on steam, im sure they will still sell boxes or Digital downloads from their site or whatever their distribution plan is.
