How many of you plan to play Rift, GW2, SWTOR equally or are looking forward to each just as much as the other. I know I am. I get excited reading about each game individually and each one has me drooling. Not one is better than the other to me, they all equally have my attention.
Who else feels this way?
Reason I ask, is I'm tired of the which game is better polls or which game will you play polls that don't give the option for people like myself who WILL play all 3 and possibly even at the same time (very easy to do where GW2 is concerned, of course).
I can see myself plunking $30 down each month to access SWTOR for my scifi fix, Rift for my old school new IP fantasy fix, and of course GW2 for any other fix, probably pvp mainly. Anyone else plan to do the same or something similar?

Same here...
Not really interested in RIFT, but I'm jazzed about TOR and GW2. I'm also really excited about DCUO. Almost as excited as I am about the other two.
GW2 is a given with the F2P after purchase, I will only subscribe to one MMO at a time, so for me so far it's a toss up between TOR, Rift and Tera.
I will probably play them equally...
Not at all
None of them seem to offer something special or new that would make me want to play them.
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
Playing: Rift, LotRO
Waiting on: GW2, BP
If you really think that none of the games offer nothing new you are ignorant and should have not posted in this thread.
GW2 will be installed an played when I'm bored with Rift.
I would have a mental breakdown if I tried to play 3 MMOs at once.
I also think it is generally accepted that people usually play one main mmo.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.
But what if...and bear with me here, all 3 are good?! First, that would be a miracle, and second, what would you do?
what about Tera?
So people who don't share your opinion are not allowed to post wherever they like?
Seems pretty ignorant to me!

Trying to break the generally accepted rule. I know people watch more than one tv show in a week, so why can't it apply to games? Especially if they are fairly different from each other? also, how many people play one MMO only because there aren't really any other spectacular alternatives? I think next year might break the mold, or at least I'm hoping it does. But that's a topic for another conversation(plenty of threads about that, heheh already).
Well, you can add that in there if you like, personally I'll try Tera but it doesn't excite me in the least. It just reminds me of Aion too much and I really don't like Aion.
These companies are finally going to have to worry about a proper release. It could make all the difference. I think that is a good thing.
Wa min God! Se æx on min heafod is!
I had this happen to me already.
EVE, Ryzom, Guild Wars and Anarchy Online all solid games so I picked one and juggled the others in three- four month intervals.
I could juggle EvE, Rift & TOR and since Lotro and GW2 are F2p/B2p I dont need to keep a sub going with them.
I've always played my games like this. Keeps everything fresh and keeps me from becoming overlly competitive in game.
Never really had 6 (if i added ryzom back in the mix) awesome games to play at once before but how could that be a bad thing?
Playing: Rift, LotRO
Waiting on: GW2, BP
It would be a miracle if all three games gonna be released in the same month, or 60 days.
And there is always a chance of at least one disappointment in 3 games.
I plan on trying all 3. I'm assuming that Rift will come out first, and hopefully hold me over 'till SWTOR and GW2. I'd never comimit to 3 games at once, 2 is pushing it, but with GW2 having no sub, that definitely leaves room for either SWTOR or Rift.
GW2 is a given. Ill almost positively play SWTOR as well. Rift and Tera are bystanders that I will continue to watch and wait to play.
That's the plan anyways.
There's no way I could play all 3 equally. Out of the three, Rift doesn't really appeal to me so I imagine that will be out. GW2 will be the main game I play but that seems to be the latest release out of the three. So it depends on which each game releases but unless GW2 is just terrible than I'll be playing that one the most.
Reft? No way, it looks like every other MMO already out there. I don't understand why people are excited about it. At all.
SWTOR? Snooze. Its not even Star Wars.
GW2? You bet. It looks fun and interesting.
I will be giving Rift,GW2,SWTOR,and Tera a good look at..
Im interested in all 4 equally and with GW2 being F2P,it just makes it that much easier.
Though it'll be nice if they all come out at a decent amount of time between each other..
As we all know MMO's are time consuming
Agreed. Ideally these should launch about...4-6 months apart, giving us plenty of time in each to play at least one character through. Too bad they couldn't release these guys in the last 5 years when I went looking for a new MMO and had to settle for what's available.
One of them should theoreticly be playable... I hope anyway. We'll see which one. That one i will play.
I've been uplinked and downloaded, I've been inputted and outsourced. I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading.

Honest I'm torn between three MMO's that I wish to play. GW2 and SWTOR of course but the third (not on this list) is DCU. I really love all three...but ALAS my moniez can only afford me one upon each release. I might end up picking up GW2 to tie me over and wait for SWTOR and DCU to have more content as we know that more will be added later on.
I'm actually pretty excited about Rift, the other two will have to prove me wrong when I play the trials or I won't be buying them.
I am socializing community exploring discovering kind of player and regardless if their might be many MMORPG I might like I still choose only one due to how I like to play MMORPG. To make it clear that doesn't mean others who might play multible games can't be the way I like to play MMORPG's.
Obviously there are multigame clan/guilds that might be scattered around several MMORPG and I see there plenty of people who like that way of playing MMORPG. But that type of play is what I might do with normal multiplayer games, with MMORPG I want my commitment towards 1 game. I also have very limited gametime, but that aside regardles if I would have plenty of gametime I am still a 1 game MMORPG player.
