Guild wars 2 is not a wow killer and was never ment to be. People like Wow for the grind, the bad pvp, and all the other things it does in a sort of bad, but very good selling way.
Guildwars has a play style that a lot of Wow players would not even like..
A game being good, or even the best game of all time, does not mean another game will 'die'. Will millions of people find guild wars 2 an awesome game and stop playing wow? It's possible. But will every wow player leave wow? of course not!
At this point a lot of the veteran wow players are addicted, that's what happens with sub MMO's. If they leave now they will have to say goodbye to their (verging on, if they started on day one) £800 game. They just can't do it. Just via that small niggling feeling of 'i've wasted so much money and/or life if i leave' many players will never leave wow without losing their job/kicked out of house/failing school/college or having their partner leave them. It's the same with all sub MMO's.
It also shouldn't matter to anyone. You may not like WoW, but plenty of people do. Admittedly they'd have to be a complete fanboy to say guild wars 2 isn't looking good, but many aren't and do like the look of it. But one of the best things (for them) is that they can still keep their WoW sub!
