Quick question, quick answer. When i read about this game i got all hot and excited, but I like to try it first. Thx in advance.
It's too soon to be asking for a trial. Also game is very cheap. Costs 10 bucks to download client and play for month. it is as good as a free trial.

You do not have to pay for the client, but you need to pay $2.95 USD for a 4-day trial activation. Also, even though it says "trial time", your account will have no trial ristrictions or anything like that.

I'm on the same boat. I know I'll be argued into the ground that they are only doing this to cover "Expenses" that show up as a result of adding you to the system, but I still think it's morally wrong.

some ppl mix the concept of free client and free trial also whit trial
free client= you dont need to pay for the cd/dvd/download the game /torrent
free trial=have access on the game for 14 days for free (u give away ur email so u get newsletters so is not so free)
trial= u get access on the game for 14 days for a small fee most of the time 1$ so they make sure you are not a spammer/goldfarmer and if you are they can ban the credit card number
No game has a free trial upon release, hell, most don't even have 1 year after. If you are not sure then you will have to wait or take the risk and pay the cheap of 10$ to try it.

I created an account, loged in, went through the character creation, and the logged into the game. At that point I realised it was time to take the family to see Potter, so I logged out, wife naturally took another 20 minutes, so i tried to log in again out of curiosity, and no troubles. By the time i had gotten home from the movies, it said my account had expired (or some such) .
So for me at least, it didn't work/last very long.

After searching the site and looking through the FAQ, I didn't see any mention of the game having a free trial period.
You could pay $10 and try it for 30 days though. The client is free.

Very true. Nothing says "free". I believe the biggest reason a pay trial is done is to reduce the number of gold spammers.
That's kind of silly when a 30 day trial would cost you $9.95.

I just made one and it says account expired when i log in...
This is strange. When some people create new account they get free time but other people don't...
But... they aren't calling it free...
