Dis Order I agree with jackman, most of your points are complete personal taste. Would you rather have your character just run straight through cars? Not very realistic to me. I also dont get how the combat system is complete crap....what? Just because your character isnt standing in one exact place and swinging a sword over and over again its not good? The characters are actually twirling and flying about, swinging fists and legs, and slamming each other into the ground. That seems rather cool to me.
And where the hell do they climb any walls in the matrix? Personally I would rather hyper jump than be in a wall climbing simulation (if you HAVE played, then you might have noticed that you CAN climb pipes and ladders). Also, have you thought about how letting people drive cars and bikes would be. Dont get me wrong I think it would be freakin awsome, but do you know how much extra coding would have to go in for the animations? You have to code the getting and and getting off, what happens when you hit something, if you aggro a mob. And when each of these would happen you would create an insane amount of lag with hundreds of people driving around on bikes. Think about it next time.

LOL I played MxO beta theres no fun to the game (original beta closed beta the one before fileplanet etc.... u needed a credit card etc) i played it it was friggin awesome until u got used tot he battle system the bullet time accurence is uber and the combat is friggin repetitive... If u PvP a guy whos lvl 50 and ur an 18 u cant even lay a finger unless they block... the good part about other mmo's is U ACTUALLY STAND A CHANCE... im getting this only because im moving to a country where they have Ragnarok and weird Malaysian MMO's im getting all the friggin MMO's i can get before i leave... lol i kno dude but the system is the same like the 4 days before beta ended (BEFORE MORPHEUS CAME I played it The system had more moves but i kept attacking witht the same moves and Hyper jump Bah i hated how they made u need to be lvl 10 but hyper jumping is awesome and lvl 250 agents are nasty one wouldnt let me friggin escape he would keep hyper jumping after me and poking his ear piece... (closed beta stage) and the creation sytem was pretty fun i guess

60 level 1's wont hit a level 60 in WoW. a level 60 in WoW can kill a level 1 in one melee hit / one spell. im pretty sure a warrior would just turn on that AoE attack thing he has and all of them die.
plus, thats a pretty lame way to bash a game. and you failed to promote WoW in any way.
I gotta admit I was disappointed with MxO. I got in beta after waiting for the game to start beta for like 1 year.. I was acitve on the official forums like 4 hours a day just to talk about the game and all our ideas and we Roleplyaed alot as well. Though when I finnally entered the game I was choked, I mean I thought wow this is gonna be great, But after getting to lvl 10 after 1 day of instantly grinding I gotta admit already there I was bored. It was the same thing all the time just find some mobs, kill em and then so on. Nothing fun in the game if you ask me, I was REALLY rEALLY disappointed.
Although the missions were kinda cool, except there are like 3 different buildings, They all look the same inside lol, So everytime you'r on a mission and you need to go into a building, you know exactly where to locate the elevator and stuff, and the first time yuou enter a building it's pretty exciting how they've made an entire building where you can actually walk around and explorer all the rooms. yet after 20 missions it gets kinda boring when you find out "Hey its the same buildings they've used over and over again" Maybe it's too much to ask of them to make every building uniq, I agree, but still they could atleast make a few different details or something? Now I know how they made megacity that big, they simply used COPY / PASTE. That's my opinion

You say its to much to ask, making every building unique? Its verry easy, the only thing they need is a randomizer, but remeber, its still a beta, alot can change untill goes real..

Im sure its your opinion, too bad its based on ten levels. did you even leave mara? theres probably 30 different building types in the slums, 30 in the barrens, probably 40 in international district. im only 27 so i havent gone into downtown *yet* and i never did missions there in beta, but im pretty sure theres more than 3.

I've always wondered what does insulting something by calling it gay actually mean, I'm not a bleeding heart saying it offends the gay people. I've just wondered what exactly does calling a game gay mean about it? Does it have men having sex in it? Does the box move on its own and goes to your wow box with the male orc on cover and have sex with it? I'm really curious.
Just calling a game gay is rather idiotic, because using your logic, I'd like to say WoW and FFVII are "gay". Especially that cloud, he dresses up as a woman during part of it right?(been a long time) I think thats much more gay.
But in all truths, what you mean is that, you dislike the game, but can not form words together properly to describe why. I don't know if i hate MxO ive never played it, but I'm getting it today, from what I've seen it looks to be a great game, but if its not... well at least I'd know. I won't come to these forums and dis it, id play it for about a week, and probably write a review for it, why i disliked it, why i like it, and what could make me like it. Of course i could love it, its all just a chance, i do hate how i got to pay 50 bucks for it since stores arent selling it for 30 yet...i could order it, but by the time i ended up getting it, i probably would be playing city of heroes again.
Also if anyone else plays on a server, and would be willing to help me out when i get it, I'd appreciate it, maybe no a handholding type situation, but just a general guide, someone i could ask questions to etc etc. I'd really enjoy that, my aim is bladin vladamoor if anyone would be interesting in helping me start out... If it can run EQ2 and WoW (They use the same code base ie: Direct X, Direct 3D, Open GL, ect.) then it shouldn't have a problem unless you're downloading something while you're playing or you're using a bootleg version of windows . It COULD be your graphics card, I believe that EQ2 and WoW prefer NVidia over ATI. If you're using a Mac, then that's why... GET A REAL COMPUTER! If not, then I envy your computer's uberness to play EQ2 at full bore .

ummm...retail is not beta dude. There's quite a VAST differance.
Personally, I have no complaints at all about the game, and it's nice to finally have a MMO where RP is a shining feature.
