nah the sad thing is seeing all the new posts selling these beta accounts on sites like realpoor and others. I missed the boat too would of liked to have given the game a go god damn work lol. Oh well like others said this is probably just the beginning of the keys being distributed.

I posted what you did, and got yelled at by some user of these forums for breaking NDA. Probably should edit your post before he checks the thread again, as apparently that's from the beta site.

You sure about that? Telling us about what the NDA covers... I don't know if you're allowed to do that, mate. Might be covered by the NDA.
An NDA needs to be read before it could ever be accepted. If you read an NDA and don't agree to it then, you have all the info written under such NDA and are not bound by any legal document , unless such NDA is agreed upon before you apply for testing. Which it is not the case with Earthrise.
Hmm wait, how did you know that you missed it? i was waiting for the beta give away as well, but the next thing i know is that some people said it's all gone,all i know is that MHS said they are giving away thousands of keys, but not which website will be offering?
where should i look out for the next beta give away?

Semi-sarcastic. Not sure why fearmongering over a harmless news link is necessary in this board. Just because some convoluted mass of legalize which may or may not actually comprise the NDA exists does not mean you have any evidence that posting said link violates this agreement.
That being said, other paranoid developers (Black Prophecy comes to mind) made it impossible to comment on the NDA without breaking it, so it's not entirely unheard of.
I've never seen so much lawyer support until I started visiting these boards. You act as if something is being compromised here.

A user posted an official announcement from the BETA forum, intended for the testers. This broke the NDA - I've already received a temporary ban for breaking the NDA, I was simply giving you folks a heads up.
Next time, go fuck yourselves.

Just an update, it looks as if MPOGD prematurely gave out the keys. I would say more but I fear a subpoena from one of the many Google-Lawyers who litter these boards.
Expect future Earthrise beta keys from other MMO portals.

I'm not sure I understand the sentiment here. When you join a beta with an NDA, you are entering into an agreement with the developer. You're agreeing to not disclose any information that they don't want you to. Your freedom comes into being able to choose whether or not to enter the agreement, not in whether or not you can disclose any information.
Most people who mention the NDA are trying to be helpful. Mmorpg.com moderators have said they will suspend accounts and the privilege of posting here if you break an NDA. They are letting you know so that you do not get such a ban.
