So I got my beta key, used it to sign up for an account, but when I tried to log in (yesterday and today) it tells me my password is invalid. I sent them an email to try to figure it out, and I've got nothing back. You'd think that this process would be automated. Anyone have any hints? Either way I'm getting less interested in the game by the second. I'm not getting good vibes.
EDIT: Worth mentioning that my key doesn't work anymore, and I can't log in to their forums either. I get the impression my attempt at account creation got annihilated by the influx of players yesterday. I have never heard of this happening, so maybe not. But still...

This issue is mentioned in numerous other threads. You are correct. Once you complete step one the database makes your code invalid, most likely to prevent numerous people registering with the some code. However, your account isn't created until you complete step 4. If you had issues in step 2,3, or 4 your account was never made and the code is no longer valid. There are numerous people (including myself) that are having this issue.
It looks like we will just have to wait for the dev team to resolve the issue.
If the game's user database contains the user's beta code, they should be able to make a quick script to reset any beta code that is not accociated with an account.

oh that's true, you have to login to get to that page. I wonder if duplicate beta keys were handed out somehow, and someone beat him to the punch.

it depends some peole are getting password failed on that page but the can still excess the forums other are just having game issues and resetting the password fixes it at least the issues is being seen now and not at release they need to change the regerstration process
