Rift: Beta 6 Dated

Trion Worlds and the Rift dev team have announced that closed Beta Event #6 will commence on Friday, February 4th. Called "Planar War", players participating and assisting with closing a rift will be awarded planar rewards. In addition, those closing rifts will be entered in a drawing for an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.
With regard to Beta 5:
Over the course of the four-day event, players logged 2.4 million hours in game, more than double the amount of time played in the previous event.

Never cared about Super Bowl though it will be a game with too "lesser" teams having made it..no nationally big names always makes for a more interesting contest.
It's a big thing in Fort Worth/Dallas. A new stadium built by the owner and the taxpayers of Arlington, Texas, who predicts that the local team will go to the Super Bowl being hosted in that new stadium.
That same team tanks in the first half of the season because the owner thought practices shouldn't be a physical challenge and the yes man who claimed to be the head coach went along with him.
That same team, the Jerryboys, are now the hosts to two teams who can lay claim to being the biggest rivals to the local team.

Superbowl Sunday- sounds like a great day to go and see The Black Swan.
Super Bowl - is that like a really enhanced form of bowling? Or is it something to do with that sport called American Football which is mainly played with your hands?
I'm looking forward to Ultra Golf Saturday when I will be joining millions of Americans tuning in to watch a cooking contest, the winner of which will become the next president... elect.

LOL, me too. both Green Bay and Pittsburg both deserve to be in there. And thats saying alot from a bperson who doesn't either of the teams.
I wonder what the new level cap will be!?

SB will be the best in years. Whoever said "lesser teams involved" obviously knows nothing about football. Yeah the 3 time SB champions in 6 years are packed with nobodys! I for one will be at a friends house at their bar watching this and getting toasted! Then when I get home I'll fire up Rift and taunt all the Packer Fans on after their crushing defeat!
And to Grunty I feel your pain. My team is also ran by a Egomaniac that makes stupid personnel decisions. But I can't feel TOO sorry about the Cowgirls because my team is owned by D.S. Can you guess who that is LOL
Back on topic: Beta5 was great! I'm so glad I preordered this a few weeks back on D2D for 20% off. Game just keeps looking better and better every Beta. Can't wait for March 1!

Aye the Packers vs Steelers will be a great game. I'll be going to a Superbowl party that day so no Rift beta for me. I think I might skip the rest of the beta events anyway.
Steelers have more Superbowl rings then any other team in the whole NFL.

i played some Rift its ok..but it just dont got what it takes feels very cookie cutter type of rushed mmo id wait and see before buying and wasting more money on a bad mmo that lasts the 1 free month . i give it 3months before they drop subs
Not sure what game you have been playing fosters but Rifts is far from "rushed" and "bad". Its a great mmorpg in my book and I have faith that it will only get better with Scott Hartsman at the helm.

SWEET! This is going to be a great weekend. I get to play Rift starting on the 4th, I will be 52 years old on the 5th (and still do not need Viagra!), and the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Played in a few betas and have to say I got exactly the opposite impression, no idea what you've been playing but it wasn’t RiFT!
