Im reading the wiki and the game seems intrigueing; but a lot of what i've been seeing on forums is some hate for the game cause of UI, bugs, etc.

So is it innovative? Cause that's what im lookin for; the whole Offline/Online thing and it mentioned some social aspect with NPCs, it all sounds like a fun game in theory but I cant get enough info on it.

One thing I've learned about gaming forums is that it is a place for the unhappy to congregate.  Those who enjoy a game either play it instead of being on the forums, or don't have any reason to go there in the first place.  One cannot judge something on the mob-mentality like forums.

That being said, yes, this game is innovative, and yes this game is having some issues (as most everything does at this point).

I am really looking forward to this game, but I have one major fear.  Connectivity, freezing/jumping, frames per second & lag-type issues are a gamebreaker for a game with a aim and click combat system.  This is currently the only thing that has me holding my breath, as the game concepts themselves are exactly what I am looking for.

I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.

There are more and more beta keys becoming available as they stress test before the final release.  The servers are actually becoming more stable and the game is getting better since I began testing a few days ago.  I have read that Masthead patches frequently and does fix problems brought to their attention by the players.

I can only offer my opinion (I like the game, a lot, even in it's current state).  I recommend getting a beta key and trying out the game.  You've a couple more days.

This is true. My advice don't believe the overly negative or overly positive hype. I'll try to be fair -

Yes it is innovative in the sense it is doing a lot like EVE with human avatars. Comparisons have been made to Darkfall in a sci-fi context as well. But yes, it is buggy right now. I've had low FPS the whole time and i rarely do in any game. Although I've had few crashes, I read about a lot in the beta forums. The servers have been down more than I think they should be so close to release. However, it is fun, combat works usually and graphics are above average.

"Never met a pack of humans that were any different. Look at the idiots that get elected every couple of years. You really consider those guys more mature than us? The only difference between us and them is, when they gank some noobs and take their stuff, the noobs actually die." - Madimorga

Thank you all for the replies.

Because im tied down with a couple of other mmo's (DCU/Rift) I think i'll wait maybe a month or two or at least until some bug fixes are done and I'd prefer to play a trial hopefully one day before buying it.

Overall i'm excited to play but I'll save money until i'm ready for it ;)
