How do I join Goonsquad??

    I know they switched to Lotham..... but a few nights of me and my brother kicking their butts all over creation (I'm sure others were were having similar successes) they are mysteriously not in warfronts anymore...

     

    They may have consolidated onto one server or maybe went back to briarcliff.

    Hmmm, You know this isn't Eve right? They can't use their main strategy which is basically zerging large ships with hordes of smaller ships. You really shouldn't be afraid of them or even care about them as they are insignigicant without this strategy. Also if you are the same faction as the goons they can't grief you really anyways. And when they say Rift has PvP it's really more like Aions PvEvP (Player versus Environment versus Player) . 

     

    Either that or he's trying to say .....

    Two of my RL friends once attempted to join the Goonswarm in EVE after they had just started the game. They began talking with a very friendly "recruiter" who had no problem letting them join. They were told to pack up all of their belongings and head towards the Goons' home system. This system was over 70 jumps away and in very dangerous space, but my friends decided to take the journey anyway. After several hours of jumping, they finally arrived in their destination system. Several goon ships approached and immediately destroyed both of their ships and then pod-killed them. I thought it was kinda' funny since it didn't happen to me, but my friends were not so amused.

    The Goons are the biggest ass-hats in online gaming. Their only goal is to make life miserable for everyone else around them... and they take sick pleasure in doing so. I think many of their members must have some serious emotional issues. Why anyone would join these rejects is beyond me.

    I have only applied for the cheapest membership level, and I am not sure what exactly they wre looking for so I might have overdone it in the application, but this is real exciting! I thought maybe there would be some sort of screening process, although that may yet to come.

    It'll be awesome if they just take your money then guild kick you.

    Well, I am in now and I have not been scammed yet. This is looking pretty promising. Their wiki is surprisingly huge for a new game like this.

    I've ran into quite a few of them in my times in MMOs.  I don't recall any of them being good players.  I don't even recall them being good at being "griefers".

    But hey, whatever floats your boat ya know.

    im not and never have been a member, i would never play in a clan like that.  my friends have told me so many screwed up stuff they have done in eve, and just go look at the eve forums and you can see how they like to rip people off and screw people over.  what i said was meant to be tongue in cheek but for some of their members im pretty sure its accurate based on some of the pics ive seen of some of the socalled members from various forums and stuff.

    Can they open a branch in regulos?  I'll pay their membership fee if there will be a bunch of them and want to do warfronts..

     

    Too hard to find a clan that has a decent amount of people and want to do them. My clan will do them because I asked, but they prefer running the same instances over and over again.   I want a clan that plans to do alot of pvping.

    Everyone knows if you wanna join Goons you fly to 0.0 space in your best gear and items so when your ready to dock into there station you can be safe there with them.

    ^ Pretty much this. They rely on numbers and the Zerg tactic. What they do is find a bunch of gullible newbs and charge them a membership fee, then have them zerg targets, require that they "donate" loot gained from these targets to the officers and sit back and laugh.

     

    And yes, they do laugh lol. They trash talk about the newbs that paid to join constantly lol.

     

    No idea why anyone would want to sign up for that but obviously there are people willing to, what gets me the most though is admitting you want to sign up for that lol.

    Replies such as this make me wonder if anyone's actually faced off against the Goonswarm.  True, they zerg, but in EVE they were zerging in Titans and other captials  Say what you will, but they were a force to be reckoned with regrardless what you believe about their skill

    WTF! It has barely been a day and they kicked me out :( I have been promised a refund, but that is not the point. It came out of nowhere and now I am back to not getting any replies.
