ive been spending hours playing LoL.. just discovered it i wish Black Prophecy was playable, but its not due to horrible lag so the closed beta is useless to me.
In my opinion, Guild Wars 2 is looking like the only mmo worth spending large amounts of my time on; therefore, I am playing a lot of single players. Currently I am playing Dragon Age. It has honestly been and is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. Like many others have said; taking a break from mmo's is a good idea. I will then be ready to play them anew once GW2 arrives.
Playing LoTRO and GW1 right now. LoTRO being new and slightly addictive to me right now and GW1 is kind of a grind for me to work on HoM stuff (working on lvl 25 heading toward Black Widow spider!). I have also been playing CoD:MW2 and Dragon Age 1 and will soon play Dragon Age 2.
Other than that, just waiting for the nicer weather to get here to get the yard work done. All that is after playing my main RPG....Family Guy! lol
You want me to pay to play a game I already paid for???
I don't really get the concept, to be honest. I don't wait for games with eager anticipation. I play what I like that is actually released. Hopefully GW2 will be great and I'll buy it and play it a lot. GW2 might also be a giant pile of poop in which case I'll keep playing Rift (with a little WoW, DDO, and maybe LotRO mixed in.) I sure hope the people putting all of their gaming on hold in hopes that GW2 is the second coming of Pac Man don't end up dreadfully disappointed.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went from Apprentice to full 5 star Elite in under 2 months. I was pleasantly surprised again when I went from Elite to just barely Hardcore in 2 weeks. Apprentice, here I come!
homeboy, GW2 will make the games you mentioned LOOK like steaming poop. i guarantee it
that being said, i dont think i'll mind getting both GW2 and TOR. i always preferred sci fi but there are to few good sci fi multiplayer games. however, ArenaNet did such a great job making fantasy look cool in GW2 that i just cant resist.

Doubtful. That's what they said about Rift, but the core content, PvE-Heavy and non-massively-multiplayer, single-player-esque, non-organic, grindy game-play was the same as any other mmo in the last 6-years.

Hmm, only thing I really heard about Rift was that it was polished.
im a jaded MMO'er myself. but guys... there's no need to be skeptical about GW2. just give in, it's gonna be amazing. cant say the same about TOR, that one im really cautious about. it's not a good sign when the game can go either way before it's released.
GW2 is going to be my filler until World of Darkness. Until then MMOs are dead to me.
People are trying to act like the existing formula is as solid as Chess. In reality they're more like that Highlander TCG from back in the early 90s. A lot of people played, but no one could teach you how to play them.
If I don't see an iota of evolution from GW2 and WoD I'm going to dub the genre dead.
I really like the color scheme, overall feel and most of all that its an action mmo which might be refreshing for both pvp and end game pve... and I'm intrested to see how the political system is going to work out.
Not to forget that I can run it really good due to the engine and still have awesome quality graphics

singleplayer games! found way more enjoyment in singleplayer games than in MMO's, especially the last few years. Just played the Witcher (singleplayer RPG) which is one of the best games I ever played. Also playing a little Stalker/Metro 2033 and Demon Soul's.

Witcher 2 coming soon! Will be very nice.
As long as it doesn't have an auto HD fragment feature this time around...
Forever looking for employment. Life is rather dull without it.
Great suggestion guys! As I am now not trying to subscribe to anything and alot of you said subscriptions I went ahead and tried League of Legends which is GREAT! Realy fun to play and all and very new apperently alot of room to expand for sure. Keep them coming all your suggestions are wonderful to have.

Playing RIFT until SWTOR. Then SWTOR for years.

wrong, they never said that about Rift. when Rift was in open beta, it stunk of mediocrity from all the reports.

wow i'm in love lol
Eve, you may not desire a big release after playing it.
If it must be a multiplayer game, especially that you can ditch anytime. League of Legends is always fun.

DDO and GW1 is filling my (limited) free time while waiting for GW2.
