Best non-mmorpg game ever?

So, what do you all think?  I'd have to go with Conker's Bad Fur Day.

"I think therefor I am" is a saying that can't possibly be true, if it was, over half the people in this world wouldn't exist.

I'm tired of people who act 18, but type like they're under 5...

You don't know what Conker's Bad Fur Day is?  It's a game that is um... "adult themed" I suppose is a good way to put it.  It's not really that hard at first, but when you get to the war part against the "Tediz" (some kind of mutant teddy bear things with scars and stuff) and you get your double semi automatics (and a cigar, just for that extra lil' touch) it gets pretty tough.  It's got a lot of swearing and stuff like that.  All in all, it's a great game, at least to me.

man, i still play total annihilation for hours every week. so fun setting up 4 lines of heavy turrets and just bombarding the enemy as they come across the map.

my favorite game ever would probably be Delta Force. Sure it blows now, but when it came out it was pretty damn fun, especialy online.

TA was so fun setting up guardians and pounding the AI.  But, did you hear a group is working on TA2 set for a Q4 2004 release?

err i think u must be referring to monkey island 4 .. wich was a total failure to release. 1 and 2 were good but thats about it sadly.

Monkey Island 1 On the other hand was Developed in 1990 and published by LucasArts Entertainment.

(Was available on 3.5 inch discs)

I like Runescape. Why dosn't anyone else like Runescape? Some mysteries will NEVER be solved...

The bone-chilling scream split the warm summer night in two, the first
half being before the scream when it was fairly balmy and calm and
pleasant, the second half still balmy and quite pleasant for those who
hadn't heard the scream at all, but not calm or balmy or even very nice
for those who did hear the scream, discounting the little period of time
during the actual scream itself when your ears might have been hearing it
but your brain wasn't reacting yet to let you know.

Well the new ones aren't so bad, but oh yeah I love the Delta Force Series. Single player was very boring and Delta Force Online was just amazing to me at least. And NOVA LOGIC had one of the best online gaming setups online. You can join the regular maps or you can join custom made maps which was probably the best feature in the game, that players had the ability to setup their own custom map along with their server. Made it so much more exciting and funner, with never-ending maps to play. Also, you can view your stats anytime with just a click and see how well you shoot and how well you throw a gernade that hits someone and just so much more stats. Very fun.

p.s. omerta, do u happen to play daoc as omertaa?

You could always use emulation.  Course all that "it's illegal if you don't own the game and you keep the rom over 24 hours" stuff but I own all the games I have roms of.  Um... somewhere around here... kinda hard to find what I haven't used for a couple of years.
