CCP can keep their AUR prices where they are at...I can get the most from the dressing rooms that is provided to us at NO COST.
I can't see trading a Plex for the exchange rate of the AUR that they have at this time...you would think that someone has been keeping an eye on the store...appreantly not.
Sorry, I will contract the Plex that I have in Jita or Amarr and get something that I can actually use.
But most amusing of all is all the "CCP HAVE MASSIVELY OVERPRICED THESE CASH SHOP ITEMS THAT I WASN'T GOING TO BUY ANYWAY"
The lesson to learn from this is that you should never doubt that CCP are, and always will be, the best trolls of their own playerbase.
All I could think of was, "You sir/mam, are absolutely right". You're welcome to sleep over in my Captain's Quarters anytime.

these items are just for the part where you are not in your ship, which happens to be a 3D facebook with ridiculously high graphics. EvE online happens in space 100% of gameplay is in your ship, therefore i can find so many things i can do with a plex other than turn it into a pair of pants. for one, pay my next month... or you know fit another deimos or 2 to... ahm how do we say this... play eve online.
going in stations to get missions can be done in your undies and honestly acording to the lore, pod pilots hate being outside their pods. if i was one of the i would do it like when i wake up in the middle of the night and i need to go pee... run in your undies (or naked) to the nearest bathroom and run back into your warm bed
veterans and true eve players will not be buying those expensive items for 2 reasons
1, they die often and in most unpredicatable ways... you know that time when you got hotdroped by 4 carriers in the middle of friendly territory?
They'll adjust the prices to something you'll agree is more acceptable, and when they do, you'll automatically agree to the item shop itself.
It's a neat trick that will make you lose your focus on how much the item shop itself is unpleasant to you.
It's not about the items in the shop, it's about making you more agreeable to their product, which is not a 30 dollar pair of pixilated pants, it's the item shop service itself.

Looking for that next MMO
If Eve dropped a couple zeros off those prices I MIGHT think about it.
But no, I'm not paying the price of a new game for one piece of clothing I can barely see.
CCP trolled their own playerbase harder than even LulzSec could ever hope to accomplish.
yeah i confused GTC with plex (1GTC = 2 plex, consequently each plex worth 17.50$)
still my 15$ for a pair of pants stands...
and also, clothing stays with you while you get poded? not like...not like at all.
like i said on other thread this is BS on pod you are naked but you still lose the item shop pants if you get poded
BestSigEver :P
I'm not buying at those prices, so really cant care about it.
And for those that thought cash shop would ruin the market............... and enforce buy2win.........hahaha...........
Horray for CCP, ripping of the rich people.

in that case shouldnt the pants be considered an item in the cargohold? therefor a chance of being exploderized with the rest of the ship?
i just thought of something
