Do you use male or female characters? POLL

GO TO THE BOTTOM AND LOOK AT THE GENDER POST!!! INTERESTING IDEAS!!!!!

Since obviously most female characters are actually males in real life, I want to know how many of you actually use your own gender. I think (this may sound weird) they need to make up new genders for races other than human. Once i get at least 30 votes ill make some survey thing.

They need to get other genders that are like hybrids or something. Like microorganisms have like 11 sexes

Don't know why I wrote this here, edit.

it seems like most people use their own gender. But females dont act like men but men act like women. That doesnt surprise me (especially since most players are males). Im surprised not many people do not have a good balance of both.

They have a thrid gender in City of Heroes. Its called Huge, but it looks like a bigger male

Physics is like sex... sure it has some practical benefits, but that's not why we do it.

they need to make a new game with around 7 genders for a race! just something to think about. I mean some genders would be very close to male or female and some would be completely different. That would be awsome. Some would like be a mix between a male and....a...mutant...something....?(use your imagination)

  • knightknifeknightknife Member Posts: 384

HMMM the 7-9 genders would be:
    Male (normal)
    Female (normal)
Mutant Male (male with deformedness yet has special like powers)
Mutant Female (same as above just female version)
Hybrid (neither male nor female yet happens to be very tough since "it" has no weak spot)
Ultramale (mix between male and female oh nvm scratch this one [my mind is...]---)
Albino male/female (Same as normal just white and is intimidating due to his/her red eyes)

    Giant male/female (self explanetory)
    Neandrothol (Yeah!!)

Uh well, I played an Atrox in Anarchy Online so at that time I was playing a good mix of both ;P

Flych - 70 Blood Elf Retribution Paladin - Tarren Mill (EU)
Mediocre - 70 Undead Discipline Priest - Tarren Mill (EU)

Hmm I play as an Akkan Female on RYL:Path of the Emperor. But I have more males on the human side. Im also joining the tourney for RYL im thinking of using a female warrior.

I also have a female night elf on WoW.
A female and male on Gunz Online. So could say it balance.

    Nothing else matters

That's because it is a bigger male - it isn't a third gender.

I think Horizons has a race that is neither male or female.

Anarchy Online has a genderless race...

Female and always play a female. I don't think I could act manly enough to fake being a guy in game ::::02::

lol, almost 30% of the people is not what they are suposed to be. We will have to be careful before finding out online girl friends image.
  • I will use the Male type most the type, but in some MMo, where there is Equipement for both Male and Female, i will surely use Female, because most of the time, Female Stuff are More often dropped!

I usually tend to play Hybrid and Warrior type classes. So I pick my gender based off of which of the two looks better in the armor they will wear. I currently play WoW right now. All my alliance characters (3 total) are female avatars minus my NightElf Hunter. On the other hand I have 5 Horde characters. All male avatars. To me it doesn't matter one way or another beyond what they look like in armor. Male/Female in a game is merely comestic to me.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

    No you haven't.

My wife plays male characters in EQ2 just to prevent being hit on. She has a female toon but she "retreats" to the male one from time to time when she needs a rest from prepubescent teens hitting on her.

In my PA on SWG we have a huge number of women in the guild because we have a lot of RL couples who play. The women will occasionally use a male toon on their husband's account to retreat from folks who are hitting on them if it gets too bad.

And before anyone asks, I know they're women because our PA uses TeamSpeak.. (That or they are guys with amazingly feminine voices).

Currently Playing: Dungeons and Dragons Online.
    Sig image Pending
    Still in: A couple Betas

I have a decent balance of females and males. I think playing females are my favorite, though because I get a kick out of the reaction of all those guys who hit on me and then find out I'm a guy! It's really a fun little game to play with them...heh

I'm female and I find that games are much more enjoyable if your avatar is male. Simply because most games are filled with perverted little boys who like to get off on pixles. When my avatar is male no one messes with me turn it to female and I often get harrassed. One of the worst games of all time to be female in would have to be runescape. Seeing as runescape is a piece of sh*t anyway.

LOL!!! I used to play runescape. MY account name was Knightknife and your right, People in that game hit on the female characters way to much (even though most are men looking for women but are getting men). Anyways RS2 was an all right game. I think it had good PvP (low lvl or not), Interesting gameplay, and alot of quests. The main problem with the game was the players (talk about immature pre-adolescents) in the game. Also the graphics were bad and a guy named Zezima thinks he owns the place. I was also pretty frustrated with the ammount of rule breakers and hackers and JAGEX has plans to take over the world . Alot of new updates are way to overwhelming. I HATED THE REPETITIVENESS!!!! I endured playing Rune Scape for a 10 months until lvl 85. It consumed my life. RUNESCAPE is fine if your young.

Anyways your the 1% of girls who use male characters in MMORPGs. Congrats. You also have a good reason to be a male in the games. If I was a female I would be a female character and say I was a guy though.
